S18 -Episode 10 - Solving Riddles

The thing I'm wondering today is why Coach is going back and forth telling Sierra one thing and then JT and Stephen something entirely different if he wins immunity. Also, neither JT or Stephen can have won it if Coach is telling them that he 'told them (meaning Debbie and Sierra, I guess) that I can't do that to those boys'. The inference being that the others wanted to vote either JT or Stephen out and that Coach wouldn't go along with it. All of that may be fallout from the previous boot. It could all take place before even the reward challenge, with Ben just generally scrambling to maintain his two alliances.

It's interesting in that I am having trouble with Yuku and I am writing this from a public library. It makes you sit makes and look at the big picture...Like the majority of viewers do. Not like us. Who parse every syllable...I love that...but... Looking at all the promos for this week on the wonderful Survivor Phoenix site, I kept thinking "It's all misdirection." Especially the three that are supposed to be going. These massive promos that massively introduce us to Debbie, finally, as a character...And it sure looks like Debbie is going because of this spike in face time...But wait... Who is missing? Erinn! I mean really. Where is she? Does she get to go to Exile and have this life-changing experience? I am more leaning to Taj winning the RC and taking Erinn...And who can't anybody stand? SIERRA! So perhaps they send her to exile...AND she finds the final HII!!! Standing back and looking at the big picture of this week's promos I thought, besides Debbi who is featured the most and it's SIERRA! The viewers really know who she is. They know who Roach is god knows. And they know Stephen & JT. But I don't think they have clear pictures of Debbie and Erinn. They've been just sort THERE. Yeah, I agree with Rower that the unpredictably of Erinn's voting could come back to haunt this week. Or next. If it's not surprisingly her, it's Debbie... And I don't think Stephen dislikes Sierra at all. In fact, he may see her as the perfect F2 goat, you guys. And she is. She's being edited as massively disliked...but of everybody out there...the only time Stephen expressed a negative opinion about ANYone(Aras-like) is when he hurriedly had to agree with JT and said "Oh I hate her, too!" But you know, I didn't believe him for one minute! Sierra's STUPEFYINGLY edited game-play(we've seen every little thing that happens to her) and the fact that they tried to get rid of her in Ep.1 now leads to me thinking that it's she and Stephen who are the F2. I bet he's been nice to her and we haven't been shown it. We only see Stephen in the promos listening and thinking and rubbing his beard like he does so engagingly, deep in thought. If somehow it was Sierra in the F2 with him, he would win. If it was Taj, he would win, too. Cuz if her famous, rich husband shows up for the Family Visit as it looks like he's going to...Would ANYone vote her, who is already wealthy, the million? Nope. Stephen wins v. Sierra and he also wins v. Taj. It's only JT he can't beat, but he can't be seen as the one taking him out in the endgame. Makes me think about a tie in which he and somebody else have to build a fire. The only immunity Stephen has to win and he does. Is it against JT? Yeah, and I'm beginning to think it IS the over-edited Sierra who lasts and lasts...which of course, is the sign of a true Survivor. I mean, can you believe she's STILL here??? Tyson was spewing venom at her in all exit chats. Imagine how he'd feel if she made the F2?

Erinn would be very happy to write her name down. I don't see why Stephen/JT/Taj/Erinn won't vote her out tonight. If Erinn tries to pull something next time, there is still HII logistics that can be played. In Gabon, the HII was only good up to the Final 6 Tribal Council so if the same rules apply, it will have to be played. If JT wins the Final 6 IC, then Stephen is the most vulnerable and Taj can give it to him to play at TC. If JT does not win the IC. Taj can give the HII to JT. That will ensure that whomever Stephen/JT/Taj vote for at Final 6 TC will be sent packing.

He looked "rode hard and put up wet" in the rope throw, though I can't figure why he'd part with the red shirt after RC if he was going to exile and Erinn wasn't. When is the picture of Erinn taken that we see? ... she seems all nicely put together and clean in the red sweatshirt. That doesn't fit with a bedraggled night on exile. They could have photographed her just prior to TC, and after IC after she cleaned up, I guess. I wouldn't put it past the editors to insert an Erinn-shot looking rested and pretty from some other time.
