Tyson said it. | ||

Tyson said it. It may have been in a voice-over, but he did say it. And of course, it was regarding Sierra.

donutsrule to rower "I know you don't like Tyson but personally I'll always prefer a person that tells me straight to my face what they think
over someone that acts all nicey nice and then slags me off behind my back. I haven't seen this episode yet, but even from the preview Tyson's tone to
me wasn't gloating, he was just being direct. I would like that. You (it seems) and Sierra wouldn't/don't. I do understand because
nobody gets why I prefer someone to just slag me off to my face. lol
donutsrule - You prefer someone to "slag" you off to your face? Well don't know me but you apparently can't comprehend that I have no problem with people being direct, I have problems with comments that are cruel and uncalled for under circumstances such as these. I try to follow the mantra "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" Sierra was already "down" and maybe nobody likes her but Tyson seemed to take a perverse pleasure from seeing/ causing pain... which I might add, he came out an stated in a confessional. That's it "big man" go after someone who is already on the ground. You are so tough... Whatever. If you want to "appreciate that" be my guest, however I don't have to nor would I ever condone that type of behavior anywhere... I know where it leads. |

I too believe Tyson just got mean esp after Brendon left. I really liked Tyson in the begining, loved his sarcastic approach etc... but then it seems he was
just being cruel to Sierra on purpose...

Tyson = Fairplay is apples to oranges in the context of this discussion. JFP lied, scammed, was annoying whatever but I don't recall him being
intentionally cruel. (mostly because he was a scrawny dude and they probably would have kicked his ass) Tyson had moments when he was funny, scarastic and
was shown scheming but that was different from the more recent take I have gotten from his edit. I understand there are those who don't appreciate a dry,
scarstic wit but a lot do. In fact, I like that kind of humor. It's just that I didn't find some of Tyson's comments to have any redeeming value,
they weren't funny, they didn't further his game, the words were spoken with the expressed intent of targeting one person (Sierra) and making her feel
worse than she was already feeling. Some call it honesty, I call it abusive and unecessary. Do I like Sierra? As far as the game goes? Not really. I
haven't seen much from her other than a kind of defeatist attitude which comes from being an underdog. Would Fairplay have talked to Sierra the way that
Tyson has? (Probably not, he would have most likely been hitting on her. LOL) Do I think this was "game play" from Tyson, something to go in one
ear and out the other? If it was "game play", it certainly didn't serve any purpose that I could see. None of this matters anymore, Tyson is in
the Loser Lodge and the game goes on.
