Finally had a chance to watch this. Absolutely loved it, as I knew I would. It lived up to its promise in the preview. Can't wait for the fall. I just downloaded DSB from itunes. I think this show is going to be huge.
And I loved Lea Michele in the role, maybe I'm in the minority on that. And I thought Matthew Morrison gave his role a lot of heart. And Jane Lynch is always amazing. Can't wait until the fall to see more!

It depends on whether or not you're talking to people who read up on Broadway gossip regarding Lea. Apparently she's a diva bitch on Broadway, but
that plays in her favor here. No matter. Most of America will just embrace her as I don't expect a huge portion of this show's audience to have made
the trek to NYC to see her in either Les Miz or Spring Awakening.

I just noticed something. I see the popularity bars over in iTunes with regards to the top 10, and DSB is still beating out the BEP by a substantial margin.
BEP and Kris Allen's song are very close together, but the thing that differentiates the three songs is that DSB is only $0.99 as opposed to the new
pricing of $1.29 that the other two are set at. I wonder if that's playing into the popularity of the song right now in iTunes (impulse buy at 99 cents as
opposed to giving thought to buying the other two at the higher price point).

I want to buy more songs. Hell, I'd pay for a studio recordings of On My Own, I Fist A Girl, Sit Down You're Rocking The Boat and the songs cut from
the aired version (Disco Medley, One and the teacher's song).

Quite possibly the best pilot I've ever seen. I loved everything about it. The uber-cute guidance counselor looked familiar--holy schnikes, it's Coat
Check Girl from How I Met Your Mother!
The only thing that didn't really work for me was the coach's infatuation with said guidance counselor. Everything else though...yeah, this show is awesome. |

I loved this show! I will be back in teh fall for sure!!!
But I have to say that I really did not think the Lead Male/Football player was a good singer! He is decent, but not good enough to be the lead and/or be the guy they are all surprised he is "So good". He is just OK...his voice is just not powerful enough for me. I would totally download DSB, but it just isn't strong enough for me to want to own it. And I don't care if the Lead Girl (I don't know her name) is a bitch...she has an amazing voice and did a great job! Overall, fantastic show and I can't wait to see how the rest plays out! |

Cory's voice on DSB is almost nonexistent. Lea's voice so overpowers the song that you have to strain your ears to hear him singing the harmony. That
said, when they were singing Grease, yeah, he sounded odd, but in DSB, he works great. I'm just unsure why the music producer made Lea stand out so much in
the song.
