I too had no idea of the rampant deaf putdowns that Luke and his mother spoke of. Where does this happen?

Maybe when we elect a deaf President, we can once and for all say that we have overcome our racism against deaf people.

At least when you are deaf, you can't hear people making fun of you. Poor blind people. They can hear from a mile away all the snickering. But they are not as bad off as the deaf. God loves deaf people more because when they try to talk, they are hard to understand or sound mentally challenged.
