It's going to be a massive trainwreck so the contestants might as well bring the laughs.

Adam should do McArthur Park and do some totally bizarre arrangement.

I predict group number on results night to be "We Are Family".
I would love to see someone do September - upbeat, fun. Did Elliot do that one? So can they change it up to make a disco song NOT sound like disco at all? Totally remake it? That would be interesting to see what they could but only Adam is brave enough. And I am not sure what theme Stevie Nicks would fit in, but I want Allison to do a Stevie song - Edge of Seventeen definitely. |

I'd like to hear Adam sing the disco version of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" or my favorite disco song, "There But For the Grace of God
Go I".
Allison - Grace Jones. "I Need a Man" Kris - "Making It" Gokey - "I'm Coming Out" Lil - "Doctor's Orders" Anoop - as he's fodder anyway, he can just go totally out there and sing "Push Push in the Bush" |

Someone did a disco version of "I Am What I Am" from La Cage. Was it Gloria Gaynor? |

I love the disco version of "If You Could Read My Mind" from the soundtrack to "54".

Adam simply must do Sylvester's Do You Wanna Funk. That would get me back on the love train.

Lil should do "Last Dance", one of the ultimate songs of death for Idols. It will guarantee her boot.

McWolcott wrote:Well the theme that year was not Disco but was 1970s Dance Music so it did kind of fit that. Too bad Nadia had been eliminated the week before, I would like to have known what she would have sang. Now I could never understand Fantasia singing "Holding Out for a Hero" for Disco week. |

Oops, my mad, I'm confusing Fantasia's bizarre song choices. Still, I also read that she didn't really know any of the songs she ended up singing
on AI, even Summertime - Nigel pretty much told her what to sing in her season.

That's really not shocking considering she was the most overpimped person on this show ever.

Who cares if they told her what to sing? If it makes the contestants do better, I wish they'd tell them ALL what to sing. Well, maybe not Lil. I don't
think I really want to hear a different Mary J. Blige song every week for every theme....
