They have the save for only one more week, right? I'm thinking surely they would save Allison if it's her tonight. If she goes home without a save,

Its already been determined that kris receives a large amount of text votes. His friends back home have said that people who go to the local watch parties all
vote via text messaging, and im sure many other kris fans do as well. I think hell be in the bottom 3, but the first sent back to safety. I think theyll make
anoop and the fans think anoop is in the bottom 3, and have it come down to him and matt. That way Anoop as well as the causal viewer will think annop is
going, but it will really be matt. Matts inconsistent performances and previous bottom 3 experience will keep the judges from using the save on him.

Looks like the save is done after next week. So, American Idol announced a new rule on Wednesday night that can potentially reverse those undeserved eliminations that shock us year after year. Each season, the judges will be allowed to save one eliminated contestant who doesn't deserve to go home. After the voting results are announced on Wednesday nights, the contestant with the least amount of votes will sing for his or her life while the judges decide if they will get another chance.Link |

The conditions are that the panel can only use the Judge's Save once per season up until only five finalists are left in the competition -- and the vote to keep any contestant in the game has to be unanimous. That's still ambiguous. I take it to mean that the save can be used when there are five finalists left and one of them would otherwise be sent home (bringing the total to four). That means that it would be in play next week (top 6) AND the week after (top 5). |

I'm pretty sure that means the save can be used at the final 5 results show, leaving a double boot week to determine the top 3.
But I think they would want to use it before the last possible opportunity, and if they're going to use it at all I wouldn't be surprised to have it happen this week. If Lil goes I doubt Simon would agree to save her at this point, but he's a fickle bastard so who knows. Anoop no, Matt/Kris/Allison maybe. However, if they used it on any of those four they'd more than likely just go again the next week and take one of the other three with them, so whatever. |

I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see it used on Anoop... and this is coming from the most pesimestic Desai fan out there.
They have jerked his chain and played with his emotions so badly this year, the producers may be trying to build the "ultimate underdog" Final 3 boot story. |
