A very mediocre night. Nobody was great, nobody was trainwreck awful. Lil stole Allison's song choice and therefore I hate her for it.

REALLY GOOD
1. Adam - with the ridiculous shrieking at a minimum, I was able to actually enjoy the second coming of David Bowie. 2. Anoop - he croons, you swoon. PRETTY GOOD 3. Allison - she was not as strong as I'd like her to be. 4. Kris - there were some weak spots near the beginning. Plus, I'd never heard the song before and what I think was him fucking up may have just been a shitty song. ZZZzZZzzzzZZZzzz 5. Whatshisface - another performance that leaves you wondering where the last 3 minutes went AWFUL 6. Lil - yes, it was terrible. WRETCHED 7. Killsbury - but not as terrible as this pig. What was going on at the beginning? AAAAAAUUUGGGGHHH!!!! |

1. Adam - that guy is the best performer and his perform rocked.
2. Allison - good effort in performing a song 3. Matt - good at singing but his mellow love it 4. Anoop - voice reminds me of a 40 year old guy, slightly bit average 5. Danny - this is sucked, even his song played in a harp tune, that is rocked. 6. Lil - this was an unanimous, her voice feels like a 50 year old woman 7. Kris - his pitch was bad B: Anoop (B3)/Lil (B2)/Kris (Eliminated) H: Adam (B3)/Danny (B2)/Kris (Eliminated) G: Matt (B3)/Anoop (B2)/Kris (Eliminated) Sorry, there was an internet disruption and I should post it earlier.

1. Adam Lambert - Born To Be Wild (Completely godsend on a horribly boring night like this. Very very OTT, which was
more than enough to compensate for the snoozefest.)
2. Kris Allen - Falling Slowly (Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Randy is retarded.) 3. Anoop Desai - (Everything I Do) I Do It For You (Ugh, Anoop is so boring now. Double ugh, Bryan Adams. But damn, he really sang that well.) 4. Allison Iraheta - I Don't Want to Miss A Thing (Horrible song choice, but she did good. Still wasn't as good as the others above.) 5. Lil Rounds - The Rose (Her best performance to date, but that's really not saying much...) 6. Matt Giraud - Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman (The earlier parts were really really good, but when he stumbled, he continued to fall, and could not save himself, which completely compromised the performance.  )

Overall, it was not any of their best performances. Disappointing.
1. Adam - Love him or hate him, he is a transfixing performer. Got a little shrieky at the end, but other than that, best of the night. 2. Allison - Why didn't she get "The Rose"? She would have nailed it. Not her best performance, but her worst night is still better than most of the others best night. 3. Kris - I don't know where I've been hiding, but I didn't recognize this song. He started off a bit rough, but came into it and I really enjoyed it. 4. Anoop - Best vocal performance of the night, but I was kind of bored. I love Anoop, but he hasn't knocked it out of the park for me yet. 5. Danny - He wasn't bad, although I still can't stand him. He probably was able to connect with this song and that made it a bit more real. But I still hate him and feel like I need a shower after watching him perform. 6. Matt - Wasn't that bad, wasn't that good. I forgot what he sang after 5 minutes. 7. Lil- She raped and pillaged one of my all-time favourite songs. I will never forgive her for that. You need a smoke and alcohol roughened voice and alot of angst to do justice to this song, which is why Allison should have done it.

Bottom 3: Allison (only because Danny didn't completely forget his lyrics, take a dump on the stage, or brag about killing his wife)
Bottom 2: Lil (black voters call in massive numbers after "unfair" negative judges's comments; rebound effect after last week's "surprise" trip to the bottom 3) Booted: Matt (like Scott and Lil, the judges have finally realized that his voice sucks) further prediction: being that it's top 7 night, they will tell Anoop he is safe (good!) and ask him which group of 3 to pick. But like last year, the safe people will be so utterly predictable (Danny, Adam, Kris, none of them ever in the bottom 3...duhhhhh) that they will be forced to move people around (putting Danny & Adam in "different" groups) in another stupid attempt to fuck with people's heads. But since the contestants have SEEN THE SHOW BEFORE, they won't be fooled. Or maybe they'll FINALLY give up on this shit.. |

1. Noop Dogg - Simple and Good vocals.
2. Danny - It was self indulgent but I love the song and he sounded great 3. Adam - He's back to karaoke-lite but I still liked it. 4. Matt - Not bad. He needs to back off the runs. 5. Kris - Good song choice but something felt off about it. 6. Allison - Horrible. She's back to mumbling and it was pitchy 7. Lil - It was better than the last few weeks but she's still mediocre overall. Bottom 3: Kris, Matt, Allison Bottom 2: Matt & Allison Going Home: Matt (It's time for one of the soul boys to bounce) I have a feeling the save will come into play if Kris or Allison get sent home. |

1. Anoop- Beautiful rendition last night. I wish the audience was behind him. Caught My Attention 2. Kris- Perhaps a little whiny, but he conveyed the feelings behind the song. 3. Adam- He sings songs that nobody should ever sing on Idol and somehow, people love them. Bravo. Will Not Remember 4. Danny- There was a flat moment or two, but the emotion was there, which isn't normal for him... too bad he's so obnoxious. 5. Allison- Something was missing, in my opinion. Good, not great. 6. Lil- Did not meet the standard all in all, but she really put her all into parts of the performance. Want to Forget 7. Matt- breathy, a bit pitchy, too many runs, bad falsetto, squeaky, sounded pubescent. A big step down from his usual, which even then is only "good."
