It was a huge disappointment considering how good it could have been. The actual music for Gaboncantins is ok, but I hate the new style of video. It's lame and boring. Bring back the stills!

I think Micro is the best, the music is good and it has loads of epic intro shots. The Vanuatu and Palau intros are nice too. I like Tocantins, though they could tone down the animal imagery just a tad.

The sound was kinda full of beats that are not necessary though. . Survivor Australia (8 POINTS) - Better than the first one. Improved sounds. Scenes with animals but the only thing I don't like is Alicia's snobby pose and some animal sounds in the sounds which is kinda annoying. . Survivor Africa (8 POINTS) - I love the festive colors and the animals really representing Africa but I don't really like the sound but it gives Variations from the first two seasons. . Survivor Marquesas (8 POINTS) - They give us some scenes now which are better than posing. Variations in sounds. Nice area. . Survivor Thailand (10 POINTS) - Very great sounds and those background instruments are really great! There are really some good colors but it has less objects than Africa which is better. . Survivor Amazon (7 POINTS) - Seems dark and music is a bit alike to the first two seasons but I love how they did this. . Survivor Pearl Islands (6 POINTS) - I'm scared. They don't really need to place those skulls. . Survivor All-Stars (7 POINTS) - So much objects. The music is like the first two seasons Once again. . Survivor Vanuatu (10 POINTS) - Nice effort on music! Seems pretty good. This season is so epic. . Survivor Palau (8 POINTS) - Pretty much like Marquesas. . Survivor Guatemala (10 POINTS) - I love those colors and music is better than Palau. . Survivor Panama - Exile Island (6 POINTS) - So much skulls. Pearl Islands 2.0 . Survivor Cook Islands (9 POINTS) - Nice view but uber repetitive music. . Survivor Fiji (7 POINTS) - Pearl Islands 3.0 but I appreciate the improvements in music. . Survivor China (10 POINTS) - I love almost everything! Different music! Colorful! . Survivor Micronesia (9 POINTS) - Almost all is OK . Survivor Gabon (10 POINTS) - I love the music and the location very much! . Survivor Tocantins (10 POINTS) - I love the effort they made for this intro.

Posts: 2663 (04/13/09 6:41 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Cook islands and Pearl islands got 10s from me - amazing music + amazing vids Micro got a 9 because it has amazing video but the music isnt as good as the above 2 Gabon got 8 for great vid and great music Marquesas got 1 because it wouldnt let me give it a 0 Worst music not only in the history of survivor themes but also in the history of the universe. The video makes me want to vomit and kill myself.

The vivid colors do not make up for the lack of good clips and the fact that the double action shot is tired. Micronesia is the only Post-ASS theme I gave a 10. It was simply perfect and I wish Micro had been shot in HD. There was the correct balance of action and slow shots and the picture shots were done just right. P.S. Russ Landau's lazy ass better be on a plane to Samoa soon.
