Her employer, Miss USA inc did not want her making unauthorized comments to the press and did not want her endorsing groups without their approval. That is not a violation of free speech, that is a condition of employment. If you don't want to live with that condition, quit and you will be free to say anything to anyone.

All beauty contestants should be like her. She gave a great fucking interview on Preston & Steve (morning radio show in the Philly area). She talked about who were bitches, who was cool, etc. Preston read a few emails from other contestants the next day (the best being from South Carolina, who said what Miss Delaware said was cool, but wishes she wasn't called a heinous bitch). Apparently, the president or something of the pageant wants Miss Delaware to be a correspondent for Miss Universe.
