JT said the last episode that his goal was to make Timbera all hate each other, he was going to work to drive a wedge in their cracks. What better way than to
first get Tyson out in a blindside. Coach will be enraged and start a war with Brenden... JT/Stephen/Taj will all go along because it gives them better
numbers. (Remember that Stephen recognizes the threat that Brenden is... for the right reasons and that is that Brenden plays with good strategy but Stephen
has trust issues with Brenden)
After that, the strongest alliance would be JT/Stephen/Taj even thought the numbers are even because they KNOW they can trust each other... unlike the remains of Timbera who has had issues from day one. Trust in your alliance is GOLD at this point, don't underestimate it. I think that S/JT/Taj all know that there strength is in each other and will stick together until the end. |

Communication is a two-way street so I don't know why Taj and Stephen wouldn't bring up the Exile alliance if it concerns them so much. And you
don't know shit from a one-hour show. Brendan could've strategized with them eventually, even if it wasn't as soon as Taj expected.

I think that Brendan wanted to see how everything played out before the first Tribal before he made his move. He knows how suspicious Tyson/Roach/Debbie are
already. So he left it alone. And he also wanted to see what moves Stephen/jt/Taj would make or not make and he saw it.
Roach/Tyson went and tried to start an alliance with JT/Stephen, or at least JT PLUS Stephen. Stephen is hanging back very smartly and letting JT do all the dirty work. This is JUST what he PLANNED to do in the first place, as stated in his pre-show tape. This was his strategy. Like Ethan's, whom he resembles a lot in my mind. He wanted to be "the man behind the man" and he found that man in JT. Also interesting is that both Stephen and Ethan were Ivys. Ethan went to Vassar and Stephen went to Yale. And BOY is Stephen doing a good job at keeping that hidden! As well, he should. They all discount him as being this RobC-ish goof ball. That also was his stated pre-show strategy and it's all playing out EXACTLY as he stated it would. And I love his quote last time re: Roach's All Male Warrior Alliance-RAMWA- he said, "It'll get me to four, but it won't get me to one." JollyPows JT and Ta, however, will. LOVE this season! Hated Gabon. |

People keep saying that Stephen couldn't beat JT in a jury vote, but I don't think that is true. Coach is going to be a bitter bitch on the jury. He
thinks he is mister integrity, etc. He is going to hold a grudge against whoever votes him out, and probably give another rat and snake type of speech. Coach
has a man crush on JT. I can see Coach blaming JT for his blindside and purposely not voting for him to win. Not suggesting that Stephen doesn't deserve to
win, but I can see Coach voting against somebody rather then for somebody. His final jury questions will probably all be about integrity.
Coach considers Taj a weak player, even though she isn't. I could see coach also make some bull speech about, how he unfairly got voted out for being a strong player. Remember Coach claimed he wanted a stradegy of keeping the strong players around (even though he voted Candace out). Coach in his mind sees himself like JT. For some reason rightly or wrongly, I see Coach being a lot more bitter at JT voting him out then other players because of his mancrush. The final episode only has 4 people left. That probably means that a lot of the jury will be shown. So that must mean some bitter jury questions (Tyson/Coach, etc).

If they want to make the votes 4 - 3 - 2. I don't think that will happen. Erinn would have her self vote and does not follow that. Even if Brendan gets the
most votes, he could use his HII so the next player with the most amount of votes will leave. It's not really Sierra but more likely, Tyson or Coach. My
prediction is that Erinn would vote for either Tyson/Coach. Brendan and Sierra will vote Tyson/Coach, Taj could either go voting Tyson/Coach/Brendan,
Stephen/JT could do that too. Coach/Tyson would either vote out Sierra/Brendan. So that puts a target on Coach, Tyson, Sierra and Brendan

I have no idea why Stephen has trust issues with Brenden but he articulated them the first time they were on Exile together. Most likely you are right and Stephen sees Brenden as a huge strategy threat, as he should. I also like Brenden BUT I try not to allow my personal likes/dislikes dictate how I view the events and analyze the game. |

Not being at the scene, I have no idea whether Brenden had an opportunity or not to get to Taj/Stephen about the CTA. However, there were two courses he could
follow at the merge, one would be to stay with Timbera because they have the numbers and the other would be to flip and pull out the CTA right away. I see his
strategy as playing a wait and see game... which he did. He let someone else make the first move and by the luck of the injury to Joe, he wasn't
blind-sided although that was NEVER a given....too many strange things can happen at the last moment and I am convinced that Taj would have gone to Brenden to
try and get him to flip early. Anyway none of that happened with Joe being taken out of the game so we move on.
Bottom line is that now if Brenden has a reason to leave Timbera because they are targeting him, which he finds out from Taj. And if Brenden calls upon the CTA, at least he will be able to stand up to the jury (if he were to make it that far) and tell his former Timbera tribemates that he struck back at them because they went after him first. Too many times in this game, the jury is trampled on by the final two (or three) and it leaves the jury bitter and looking for reasons to not vote for someone. After all that is said, I don't think that Brenden will last that long because in the end game, after Tyson, Brenden is the biggest threat to Taj/JT/Stephen. |
