I thought the ending of Napoleon Dynamite was a let down compared to the rest of the film.
Virtually of the James Bond films end in the most stupid, corny way. Bond is supposed to be smoooooth and discrete. |

Idk. I could see how people could say "its artistic that we dont get facts" but I really wanted to see some kind of final shot of flynn eyeing a boy at his new parish with a smile...then looking away in disgust. That would have been a better "No real ending" cuz people could say "Was he disgusted with his thoughts or disgusted that if he befriends a boy people will think he molested him" |

If AI ended at the underwater scene, the film would have been a cinematic masterpiece. But, no, all that brilliance would be nothing more than a mere pedestal
to hold up one of the greatest rapes in cinema history.
I'm reminded of the openning-of-the-Arc scene in Raiders. First everything is amazing, light and beautiful and then something turns and everything is made horrifically ugly, brutal and skin-melty. AI is our Lost Ark, and, like the Ark, it should shipped away in an anonymous container and never spoken of again. |

You can even tell that the ending was all Speilberg and certainly had Kubrick lived never would have ended it that way.
