It's a tie between Sixth Sense and Usual Suspects. SS' ending is probably better but US' does more for the rest of the movie, which without the
ending is pretty mediocre.
I'll also nominate Schindler's List. |

The ending of Casablanca. "This looks like the start of a beautiful friendship."
I love the end of Star Trek VI. That should've been the last screen appearance of Kirk, Spock, and company. Empire Strikes Back: What an emotional and audacious ending that was. |

personally, every time i have thought of quitting a job over the years, i remember the ending to "lost in america," when albert brooks jumps out of his rv in nyc to beg for a job. can't find the ending scene, just the opening where he quits. |
