Yes, why should we mess with these people's feelings? They had no idea how cruel this show can be. They are truly the most unlucky bunch of aspiring
entertainers in America.

probably thought he was safe because of his killer performance on Dolly week, just added up to less votes. I didn't split any votes, but a lot of people
did. Anyway, what matters is what they do afterwards on their CD. I wanted him to stay a few more weeks, but he'll be fine. Next week, I'm just
going to fast forward through the show and only watch David Cook!

Thanks for posting the Daughtry boot!
And to answer the question of why ConstantCrap and Daughtry's eliminations were so shocking was because there were still some shitty singers left. |

The incomparable Elliott Yamin?Other than Taylor, there was no one more deserving of getting the boot that week other than Chris. Lord knows the 30 year old senior citizen wasn't going home that night. Chris got the boot...deservedly so. |

Taylor had an excellent week. In the Ghetto was one of his best performances in the entire competition. Chris had been lackluster in recent weeks, and he
wasn't gaining fans as the weeks went on.

Sure it was. I don't think ANYBODY in the sucks ratings this week predicted Michael was going home, and almost nobody even put him in the bottom three. I
thought it was the most shocking boot since Jennifer Hudson. I was completely surprised at Latoya, Constantine, Daughtry and Melinda getting booted, but not to
this degree. I just stared at the set in disbelief until the next program was already on. So let's can the revisionist bullshit. Michael didn't deserve
to go, but that's beside the point. Nobody expected him to go either!

He went first, he wasn't great, he wasn't bad, he was overall inconsistent and his hype was more popular than he was.

I must say I was pretty shocked.

That had more to do with Carly sticking around than anything else. ;)

Quite possibly actually.

I remember reading the B/H/G thread and people posting "Haha, it would shock everyone if Michael or David is in the bottom 3" - then he gets
eliminated. :-P

^^^^^^^^ That was awesome!
I didn't want Michael to go yet, but Simon kind of threw him under the bus with the "wannabe" comment. That comment, along with performing first, didn't do him any favors. |

I don't think it was very shocking at all. Just because none of us thought he was going to go, doesn't make him going all that surprising or "shocking".It wasn't shocking when everything was put together, but then, neither was Boomie's exit, and many were shocked by that as well. I think David Cook's performance had more to do with Michael's exit than anything else, because they probably split a big chunk of votes. They had Michael on AI Extra talking about his friendship with Cook and Carly. That will probably bring some votes their way. I think a lot of his fans will vote more for David. I'll probably vote for Carly, although I'm not exactly bringing luck to people I vote for this season. |

There can only be one Jim Morrison and he was trying so hard to recreate him, or channel him or something. It drove me NUTS!

I thought it was the most shocking boot since Jennifer Hudson.did you watch the AI Extra with him? I thought Ryan's script sucked too where he said last year nobody was sent home, but, big pause, this year that's not the case. MJ said he didn't like that. And it was the most shocking since Jennifer Hudson because what is crappy Brooke and novelty act Jason still doing there, at least KKK can sing, tho she's boring as hell.
