I'm not a fan but Michael is too good to go out at 8th, when people like Screamesha and Brooke are still around. Oh well, best of luck dude. |

I was never a fan and I was glad to him go over a lot of my favorites still left, but that was a load of SHIT what they did to him. I celebrated when he told
Carly and Syesha that they were safe, quieted down when he mentioned how someone didn't go home last year, then sighed "well that was really fucking
rude and uncalled for" when he said that this year was different. What was the point of bringing up last year? Seriously.

It's not like it added that much more suspense or drama, it was for like 2 seconds and it was just cruel.

Anyone who had been watching the build up knew that someone was going home....Then that made Ryan's dicking around even more pointless. What they did last year was to prop up their falling star. This year was basically just to make three people feel like garbage and get a good laugh on them. |

Michael Johns being made to think he might be safe for 2 more seconds is not cruel... having to sit through another week of archietard and the butt kissing judges = cruel.... |

The fact that everyone knew it made Ryan's comment even more terrible and unnecessary. Also it's very obvious that the contestants though Mike would be
safe and Ryan just treated them all like crap for doing it.
I don't know why you think it wasn't cruel to him. I think anyone in that situation would feel pretty awful if Ryan was like "last year we didn't send anyone home...but this year we are, bye bye." |

I think his downfall was just never being that great, but never being horrible either. Not doing enough to make people want to vote for him, he's in the same boat as Ramiele except for the fact that Ramiele's first performance is what carried her as far as she got. Being middle of the pack is worse than being at the bottom on a show like AI. |

definitely the minority here,
I dun see how what ryan did was cruel, i thought it was just normal, like i wasnt thrilled or offended by it. the only 'cruel' moment was back in season 4, "judd, you're out!!" while he's sitting down and relaxing

I just think it was a nasty thing to do, especially when they were all "we want to focus on the contestants this season."
Clearly they don't give a damn about the contestants if they're willing to kick them like that just for some hype. |
