^^I loooooooove Boris. He's my favorite Idol winner ever.Yay! He's right up there for me too, probably my 3rd favourite winner, just below two Australian Idol winners I adore. Boris is amazing though and just so god damn pretty.

I won't root for him in the competition if he ends up sucking but I will have no issues looking at him.
I think Boris could do well in America if he got a major label deal over there. He's R&B/Soul and he has some really good songs and just a gorgeous voice to listen to. Have you heard the songs on his myspace? I love going over there for a listen. Before they re-did his website for his 2nd album Holy Pleasure the videos of all his Idol performances were on the website and I used to watch them all the time, they are amazing. Lots of them are now on YouTube luckily. He also does an awesome cover of John Legend's "Ordinary People."

I remember how hot Ace was and how much I liked him pre-season and then he got all fugly and greasy and to top it all off he ended up sucking majorly and I
hated him.
I can't see Michael becoming ugly anytime soon but I could see him being awful so hopefully that doesn't happen. As for Boris I'd really like to buy Holy Pleasure too. I had a link to a Dutch site that sold his first CD one time but I lost it. Have you heard the song "No Sunshine (Relax)" featuring Bo-Rush which is what Boris goes by? It's pretty cool, there's a nice live video on youtube but I have the recorded version on my iPod and it's so good. |

I loved Ace in the beginning. I thought he had a lot of potential, and then he just self-destructed. Between the "eye-fucking" and that atrocious
"Scattered", I couldn't take anymore. I'm really hoping Micheal doesn't go that route, but seeing as he's a semi-pro, he should be
alright. But as soon as he starts eye-fucking, I'm bailing. I can't stand that crap.
I did see that performance with Relax, it's really good. I also love his impromtu performance with The Family Stand at some music festival. I'm so glad someone else shares my love for this dude. |

I think I discovered him when I was sharing some Canadian Idol or American Idol media with a Dutch girl and she asked me if I wanted to check out some Idol contestants from her Country's show. As for any European or Australian imports winning this show I really doubt that will happen. This is American Idol and I'd be willing to be there will be a large portion of people who will not vote for these people based on them not being American. |

Boris is amazing. I'll leave it at that though since this is the Australian guy's thread, not Boris'.
Personally I wouldn't call this guy one of the best singers. I thought he was good and I enjoyed his voice but I don't know how good of a singer he really is. |
