Hospice nurses have a really sad job. That said, I did have a run in with one that was a huge bitch.
She thought it was HILARIOUS that my friend had his colostomy bag wound around his wheel chair and had his other tubes tangled. I was mortified while she explained how she found him in the morning..after a couple comments like that we got her fired. Here here bob! |

Who knows but what her going out of this country to get the best medical treatment could pave the way for the FDA to finally get off their behinds and offer it to the millions of people who everyday find out they have some form of this disease and let the doctors treat them as aggressively as this disease treats it's victims.Well...to be fair, the 'best medical treatment' that she got from that scary-ass shemale quacktor didn't really help much, did it? The US already spends waaaaay too much fucking money on people who have a life expectancy of <1 year. They should be focusing on patient comfort, not extending 'life' at the cost of people who can't even get rudimentary healthcare without a massive struggle. |

Bangs aside, Brit did a better head shave job.
Oh, and last week a family member of mine had a reverse colostomy. I never even knew that was possible. She had part of her colon removed and got a colostomy. I guess once everything heals and there's a low risk of infection, the colon can be reattached. Who knew?

That is so sad, I would have pushed her out the door hoping the knob would hit her on the butt on the way out. The comments I heard about prolonging life is a
ongoing battle of quality vs quanity I honestly do not know but if I had the means and thought that there was a chance that my loved one would live I guess I
would take the chance, don't know until I ever get there and hope I don't. I found this site by accident when looking up her condition and what was
happening. As far as I know if she did not have insurance like a cancer policy then she has to pay the bills and for the person whose friend had a reversal
that has been going on for years. Now for the people who think I am old because I am retired well that is where we take things at face value, not everyone has
to be 65 to retire just lucky. Anyway this will be my last reply and I hope everyone here has a long, cancer free life.
