he was partying big time as he had just completed a theatre run in midsummer nights dream (don't get me started on the hoopskirt assembled to "hide" his disability). our affectionate nic for him was "wheelchair mary".

I just got back from the store. Has she died yet?
The show last night was very touching. Didn't make me cry like Mary Hart told me it would though. |

Jesus Christ, she is taking a long time to die.
It's all we've been hearing about now for weeks. How is she not dead yet? |

Based on what we saw last night, not much longer. If she couldn`t even be cognizant when her son paid her a visit, she`s not got much time.

It was sad. When she showed her head I felt bad for her, but she has her bangs and I guess that makes her happy.
I give her a month. |

i doubt she will last another week. she was basically incoherant when they shot her son visiting last weekend. i think they expected her to die before airing
based on some of the people talking about her in past tense.

I also thought that she may have died just prior to the airing of the documentary ... and that they would flash a posthumously somber statement to this effect at the end. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My friend had to have radiation therapy. In the gigantic radiotherapy waiting room, the staff would group the patients by the locale of their cancers. So in one corner you could find the breasts, in another the lungs, and in yet another the colons and the rectums. She used to tell me that if was ever one of the "anuses," she would have to kill herself, just to avoid this ultimate indignity. Totally true ... : ( |

I am really disgusted by some of the remarks made here. This lovely woman has been in a war for 3 years and has kept not only
herself together but those who are around her. Having been a retired Hospice nurse and cancer ( 6 times) is no laughing matter nor a format for crude jokes,
instead she is a shinning beacon for countless others who have to deal with this every day, may God be good to you if you or a loved one comes down with this
disease. If we as people do what we should and try walking in her shoes for a day then we would understand the pain that not only does she go thru but the pain
of those who love her so can we please show a bit of humanity and care for this wonderful, courageous woman. Who knows but what her going out of this country
to get the best medical treatment could pave the way for the FDA to finally get off their behinds and offer it to the millions of people who everyday find out
they have some form of this disease and let the doctors treat them as aggressively as this disease treats it's victims. Leaving her alone will at least
give her time to focus on getting better and not trying to outrun the idiots who only want a pic that will give them some money in their pockets, my wish is
that they develop a hole in their pockets and lose it in front of a oncology, hospice, or needy family who are the ones that deserve it.

Ok I just watched it and It was very sad. I went with my friend yesterday, to get an iron treatment, she's anemic. The treatments are given in the same
area where the chemo treatments are given. I am so glad I did not see this before I went with her, I think it would have unnerved me. Cancer bites, whether
you are rich or poor, it takes no prisoners.

I hope you were not talking to me!! As the old saying goes what goes around comes around, so where will you be with your filthy mouth and who will be at your
bedside when it is your time to go? Hope you have a Hospice nurse they at least do not care about your filthy mouth and only care about you and your family and
getting thru a rough time. I hope you do not have children so you are not passing this hate on to another generation
