Odd phrasing. ~~~~~~~~~~ Poor thing. Kate Jackson has lived around here ... also had "C." It would be pretty terrible to have cancer of the hiney, I would imagine. |

Farrah Fawcett's Producer Says Actress To Leave Hospital Soon
Access Hollywood - April 7, 2009 1:14 PM PDT LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Craig Nevius, Farrah Fawcett 's friend and the producer of her documentary "A Wing and a Prayer," which chronicles her three-year fight against cancer, says the actress is not "on death's door," and "will be going home very shortly." Nevius also told the Associated Press that the actress was successfully recovering from a procedure she underwent on Monday at a Los Angeles area hospital. "She's on the mend and will be going home very shortly," Nevius told the AP. "She's doing fantastic. Her fight goes on. ... She's not going anywhere anytime soon." Nevius added Farrah is "not on death's door." The 62-year-old star has reportedly been receiving care at a Los Angeles area hospital since Thursday. "She had a minor procedure. That procedure led to a small amount of bleeding into a muscle in her abdominal wall," Fawcett's Los Angeles cancer specialist, actress Tawny Kitaen told the Associated Press, adding that it was "a simple procedure. LOL." Farrah has been battling with cancer since her diagnosis in September 2006. Following chemotherapy and radiation, she was diagnosed as cancer free, only to find out in spring 2007 that the cancer had returned. In February of 2009, Nevius told Access Hollywood that the star was doing very well since receiving an advanced treatment in Germany. And on Friday, Access reported that "Wing," which follows Farrah's courageous fight against the disease, will air on NBC. A premiere date has not been set. |

This poster came out when I was in HS. The hard nips were considered positively scandalous back in those days!

When I was a kid, my best friend had big wing-y hair and her dad used to call her Sarah Spigot.

I was bored & read about her in the paper. I seriously thought OT had hacked the AP when the article said she had anal cancer. I didn't believe it
until they repeated it two more times.
Then I laughed. |

Rember when Farrah Faucet quit in a Salary dispute and they brought in Cheryl Ladd to play her sister Vanessa Munroe? Good times.
