Damn, the writer's strike edition of Big Brother right on top of the last summer edition was definitely BB overkill for me. I doubt SYTYCD could put me off that much but three seasons in five months, why push it?

I'm not sure it can do as strong against the Fall Line-UP But clearly Nigel wants to move it to the Fall like American Idol did to the Spring after it's first season.

And if the top Dancers in Vegas for season 6 will probably happen around the time top 20 are in full swing for season 5. Well, it has been non stop SYTYCD watching for me, going from the US to Canadian to Australian and now back to the US. Then the Canadian and Season 6 in the fall.. mmmm, might find myself falling off a bit from overkill. Devin, I had forgotten about her, I hope she makes it back to Season 5 (or 6, I guess).

I bet this season is shortened and Fox's fall season doesn't start till after the world series (by then ABC will have canceled many of their new shows) so it's not going to be too close.

The spoiler lists I've seen have their names crossed out. I'm surprised at this, because from what I have seen of her videos, Devin has more talent and emotion in her routines than most of the dancers in S4, and Natalie almost made it last year. Although, remember last year they showed Katee, Natalie, a salsa dancer, and an asian hip hop guy as part of a special segment devoted to great auditions? Katee was the only one who failed to impress me; I loved her on the show, but her audition was very meh, and so are her solos.

At the very least they do fill the top 20 by genre slot. It wouldn't matter if the best twenty dancers were all contempo-jazz there are ballroom and hip hop spots being held.
