Yes, I looked up Jeanine too and I agree; she seems like every other contemporary dancer. Maybe she's very versatile. I really liked Kayla, as well; definately a standout. Is Melissa the naughty ballerina? That's so cool; the top 20 already looks better than last year. Maksim is a bit of a (pleasant) surprise. His audition was good, not great, and usually that is an indicater of top 20 (see Kherington/Susie), but in this case I thought it was just an excuse to see Faina again. He also didn't seem like the type who would be good at other styles. If it is true, it'd be hilarious if he left week 3 (since Faina auditioned with her brother and left week 2, while Stanislav left week 1). Hopefully he surprises everybody and lasts longer. If all the top 20 keep this up, it'll be hard to want people to leave.

Silky makes it not: he was seen auditioning for S6. Bianca also doesn't make it, neither does Peter (he was the boxer tapper, right?). Oh, and Heliox, let me put this gently and preface this by saying something: at least Natalie will have an even BIGGER fanbase next season, right (hint, hint)? Yeah, I'm shocked she was cut too, but maybe it's wrong (although, her name was crossed out, then uncrossed because Janette called her roomie on facebook, but then it was crossed out again, so it makes me think she's gone. She probably leaves tonight since she was cut before top 40, apparently.
And poor Maksim: this isn't the first board to express dissapointment over his un-Artem/Dmitry looks. Kind of ironic since he auditioned with Faina; you'd think he'd be sexiness on legs. But maybe there is hope for Ricky/Romulo. So far none of the guys are that hot (and neither is Ricky); so I do want Romulo in the top 20. Man, he does not seem 20 years old (in a good way).

I don't want to judge any of the unknowns, or people to failed to impress me with their auditions (Pono/Maksim) right now, because anyone who read the SYTYCD Canada boards knows how much I LOVED Natalli Reznik, and her audition was meh, too (it was only when she danced for her life to tamborine that I took notice).
