I wouldn't be surprised if the blindsides that happen are mostly from the Exile alliance the Taj/JT/Stephen trio, coach gives himself all the credit

There it is Coach is the Dragon Slayer, and Joe is going to be taken out because of his knee (well, pretty sure based on this preview). edited to ask: Courageous??!! hell no, stupid definitely. Go ahead and stay in the game Joe, let us watch you go through painful cellulitis in your leg and then deteriorate into severe septic shock and slip into unconciousness. Admittedly, it will be tough to tell the concious Joe from the unconcious Joe. Nice looking Immunity necklace, and the individual immunity is hanging on a pole. I give this one to Tyson. He is lightweight, has strength and is an endurance athlete. I don't think anyone will touch him on this challenge. Thanks as always to Survivorphoenix for the clip.

Immunity Challenge | ||
|
Similar to the Vanuatu challenge where Twila hung on the pole the longest using her teeth
so far we got: Erinn- Black Debbie- White Tyson- Green Joe- Red Coach- Orange Taj- Dark Brown Stephen- Light Brown Sierra- Blue JT- Purple Brendan- Yellow From what I saw, JT was shaking pretty bad on his pole, Erinn looked pretty good at the very top of hers, Sierra looked calm, Joe looked like he was in pain, and Taj looked like she was holding on for dear life. I cant find it on youtube, but its on Phoenix UPDATE: HERES PROOF!

But if they have double boots planned, they may go to TC anyways and just skip a planned double boot. Admittedly, it will be tough to tell the concious Joe from the unconcious Joe. I think it's kind of hard to really tell anything from the preview when it comes to who wins the challenge. Yes, we can see someone struggling and someone else not, but for all we know the someone struggling is an hour in and the one not struggling is from 2 minutes in. I agree that Tyson should do well, though.

They still have episodes on the 9th (final 10) 16th (final 9) 23rd (final 8) 30th (final 7) and in May 7th (final 6) 14th (final 5) and the finale on the 17th with the final 4. however, if they do it like Exile Island and put the final 4 on a seperate episode, then there would be a Tribal Council. |

If Joe gets medevac'd, we know that he at least lasts until the IC.

If Joe gets vacked and there isn't a TC, will the IC winner still get to keep their immunity for next time?
ETA: Jeff is right behind Joe when he says he wants to stay in the game, so it might be right after the IC that medical comes in.

but wouldn't the tc be the same day as the ic? if courageous joe stays coach's plan can still go wrong when some decide to vote joe out anyway for his
own good. for the f2, it was probably a f2 all along. pascal missed a tc in marquesas and that was when it was more important to the end so unless joe was
dying, they wouldn't just change the f3 to a f2.

Surprised to see that Joe makes the next few days all the way to the immunity challenge. If nothing else he will be hindered by the knee on that pole.

I suspect medical will tell Joe "we'll give it a few days" and Joe will end up being the merge boot anyway. He'd be Timbira as a whole's
second biggest target anyway (after JT) and I have no trouble imagining Coach being the magnanimous sort of asshole who thinks he'd look good on TV by
supplying a mercy boot. And if JT performs poorly in this IC, that'll be three-ish challenges in a row where he hasn't done well, so I can see
Coach/Tyson thinking that one of them or Brendan would be able to beat him in a physical IC, knocking the desire to boot JT over Joe down even further.

Did the IC already take place when Bruce left EI?

No, Terry was on Exile Island and Jeff brought him back early to tell all the players about Bruce's condition at once. They skipped the IC. |

After watching that promo and Coach saying he was going to cut off the head of the dragon, the only person that phrase speaks to me about is Brendan. Both
Coach and Tyson have reservations about Brendan controlling the game come merge time because of the relationships he's built with the other team. I also
don't think the appearance in previews of anyone simply in a merge buff means anything other than they made the merge, because they get them before the IC
and TC. So absent Taj and JT who have been seen in the Spider challenge, anyone could be going out this next eppy.
Also, cutting off the head of the dragon to me means he wants to get rid of the person perceived most powerful. It can't be anyone from Jalapao because they're outnumbered. He's not going after Tyson, his assistant coach. He doesn't consider any of the women in a position of power, so that only leaves Brendan. Tyson boasts that he can mold the game however he wants right now. He's shown talking to Debbie, Brendan, and STEPHEN (which I found really interesting). Why talk to the opposition unless you need their help or want to change it up? I can't wrap my head around that yet, because if Tyson stuck with Timbira, I think he's looking at higher finish than if he flipped sides and went with Jalapao. Unless....he knows that he needs Jalapao in order to get rid of Brendan, because Sierra and Erinn won't go for it. Stephen has already said he doesn't completely trust Brendan, so for me, it wouldn't be a stretch to see him turn on him. Especially when he was already considering turning on Taj who he has a much stronger bond with. Yeah, I think Joe is in trouble because of his leg, but I think Brendan is in bigger trouble because of Coach + Tyson + Stephen. |

I'm also going to throw this out there just because the repetition just occurred to me: Tyson has been posting all day on Facebook with a link to JP's
blog asking people to tell Jeff how much "they" love him and want to see more of him on Survivor because "they" haven't been seeing
enough of him. My gut reaction when I realized he'd posted this three times today was maybe he is approaching the end of HIS story arc.
And that maybe it isn't Tyson talking to Stephen in the promos, it's Stephen talking to Tyson. Damn those tricky editors! |

It would be kind of unfair to the Immunity winner for them to not go to Tribal Council, or for them to not be immune for the next one. I imagine the potential
MedEvac situation is right after the Immunity Challenge. Probst will probably say something like "Let's get medical to take a look at your leg"
as everyone watches after the challenge ends. I would just hope that if Tribal Council is skipped that the Immunity winner gets to keep it.

I really hope Erinn wins the IC so that if Joe gets evacuated, her win is useless and the Erinn fantards can cry some more <333
