I think it will be back. What else does BRAVO have to do but try to make it better now that they've lost Project Runway. I'd watch it again, but I didn't hate it at all. I quite enjoyed it. |

I don't know. Lately, Bravo seems a little too interested in filling up their schedule with shows about wealthy low-class housewives from all over the
country.

Daniella was NOT more consistent than Anna wtf are you smoking? Anna was never in the bottom and she was in top for the majority of the challenges. She was a
well deserved winner.

Anna can drown when it rains, as far as I'm concerned. And hopefully you catch my drift.

I agreed with the winners last night. JP, while interesting, really didn't make clothes for the viewer vote. Anna and Daniella's lines were more geared
towards a consumer purchase, which is really what the show had been touting all season long.
One thing I found quite interesting, when they did a recap of all the winning outfits... 9 out of 11 outfits were either solid black or had black as the main component. The 11th outfit was solid gray (to me, a variation of black). Didn't Daniella get blasted for using so much black? And didn't Issac say a designer needed to use colors? I don't think the show was horrendous.. did it need help?.. yeah.. but it wasn't an NBC "Cooking with Celebrities" show. If Bravo is smart, they're make some changes and learn from this season. There's no reason both this and PR can't co-exist. |

I agree...they can co-exist.
I think JP may take 1 in 5 voters as a compliment. |

I don't care who the viewers chose, because they all have bad taste as usual. But what I don't get is how the judges awarded Daniella their judge's
vote. Fuck you.

Glad Anna won , her clothes are commercial and perfect for the everyday woman.

chuckersil wrote:Actually, Bravo is fucked. I don't see how they can make this show better without making it too similar to Project Runway. They run the risk of another lawsuit for copyright infringement. I think that's the reason why Issac and Kelly don't counsel the designers like Tim Gunn does on Project Runway. If they get rid of the audience selection of the winner then it's a carbon copy of Project Runway. And if they get rid of Kelly and replace her with a model it makes it worse. The format can't be identical. The panel of judges can't be a fashion magazine editor, a designer, and a model. I believe that why the Elle contributor is not a judge, too much like Nina Garcia. Maybe they'll tinker with the hosts, but the format won't change too much. |

If they're gonna keep Kelly, then she should be just a host and NOT a judge. She shouldn't be allowed to cast a vote when they choose who to eliminate.
It's just ridiculous.
And since the audience decides the winner and people have seen the first season, now the contestants will be all about making 'pretty' clothes from next season. No one like JP or Merlin would be on the show. They shouldn't bother to apply actually.

A lot of what they posted were very good ideas and made the show about fashion, but way more geared to the consumer and not the high world of fashion. One of their ideas, which I really liked, was to cast recently graduated fashion students, not already working/established people. There's a lot of things BRavo can do so they won't be "fucked." |

^^^The idea of only selecting recently graduated fashion students is unsustainable, because those students would actually want a career in fashion and
wouldn't want to sully their names on a reality show unless it gave them a real leg up which this show certainly does not. and the ones that would want to
be on a reality show would rather be on Project Runway. Also that pool of applicants would be too homogeneous. The mixing of people from different
backgrounds and varying ages adds to the drama. And the fascination people have with fashion is the spectacle element it creates. If there is no spectacle
then what's the point? No one wants to see designers make looks geared for Filene's Basement. They want to make them see ridiculous/fabulous gowns.

God I hope Merlin gets that smug face of his rearranged by someone. There is bitchy, then there is beyond bitchy to irritatingly pathetic. He acted that whole
reunion as if he was far far better than any one there. Merlin was entertaining on the show, but to see him in that fuming childish state made him one of the
lowest reality tv personalities ever for me. good riddance to bad rubbish, hope he has an epic fail in all his future endeavours.
That finale was duller than dishwater, except for the offer for Daniella's job with other high end fashion designers. Was she really that good? I guess the fashion establishment likes designers who design for skeletons! go figure! |

Daniella is a VERY talented designer for being so young but she needs more guidance and more molding. I think when she was offered the job it was going to be
for more HIGH end fashion and not a mass produced Sears catalouge fashion that Anna got.

Plus, she's proven that she;s not a team player so I can't imagine her working for a high fashion designer being productive. She'll complain that everything she designs should have her name on it even though that's NOT the way it works. |
