She simply doesn't have the credibility. I was unsure about Padma on Top Chef and even Heidi on Project Runway in terms of their qualifications to judge, but IMO, they have proven themselves over time. Kelly hasn't.

It's not as if his "flipping out on everyone" is what suddenly made him unpopular with his current detractors.

If he was not upset but amusing himself by causing trouble, I'd call that bitchy. That's not what I saw. I saw him genuinely upset and (as I said) flipping out at everybody. I'll take both the "black" and the "gay" out of it, and say that he's just a bipolar mess!

I saw the "flip out" simply as built-up frustration suddenly given voice: Jonny (like he did when he was previously at the bottom) wanted to go home because, basically, he didn't want to push himself into putting in the required effort. Fine, then FUCKING GO. Not like someone has never EVER quit the show before; ie, that one Blondie-chick who left the show on her own after, what, the second episode? I sympathize with Reco because on one hand, Jonny just whines, sniffles and says he's going to quit, he's going to quit, he's going to quit, but doesn't. And, at the same time, on the other hand, says he doesn't want to bother putting in more effort because he's already got someone stupid enough to fund him and he only wants to design to the "10%" anyway (I wouldn't have thought there would be that high a percentage of people with shitty taste out there). Fine. Then GTFO and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. No wonder Reco "flipped out".
