#25. Éomer
I don't know why, but I always hated this guy. I think he's very boring and forgettable. I'm not even exactly sure what role he plays in the movies. But I don't like how smug he looks. And I always get him confused with Boramir's brother. Plus he always gave me a weird Chad Kroeger from Nickelback vibe. That's not a good thing. I poo on this character. #24. Rosie Cotton
^^^ Do you like my photoshopping skills there? Wooooo, she's surrrounded by green squiggles!!! I don't really have anything against Rosie. She's cute for a hobbit and she obviously had good enough taste to marry Samwise Gamgee. But she's just not big enough of a character to have left a major impression on me. That's about it. Sorry, Rosie. May you be saved by an outcast twist and make it all the way to the F4, or something. Yeah. |

Triple post, then my body requires sleep.
#23. Galadriel (The Lady of the Wood)
Again, I don't know why.... but I was just really bored with this character. Her role seemed slightly insignificant. And there was just something slimy about her that I didn't trust. I just don't like her at all. She did have one cool moment in the first movie where she started power tripping about almost having the ring. But that's about it. Boo hoo. #22. Witch-king of Angmar
Since all these guys look the same (and I am not just saying that because they're black *omarosa*), I feel obliged to point out that the Witch-king is the leader of the Nazgul. Legend told that no man would ever kill the Witch-king. And it wasn't a man who ended up killing him, but a woman! Epic fail, dude. That's about all I got on you. |

Never read the book nor seen the last 2 movies in the trilogy. I'll admit the first movie put me to sleep but have the soundtrack on my iTunes. O_o

Smeagol ftw. <3 I used to be able to do a perfect impression of his voice, it's true. ^_^
You can't truly judge LOTR unless you've read the books. Then you'd realize how pathetically overhyped Legolas is, and what a god Merry is. ^_^ |

#21. Faramir
Meh. Why is everyone in this family so lame? I suppose I should like him - he is the "nicest" guy of the bunch, seeing as how his dad and brother are complete self absorbed jerks. But I just could care less about him. When he almost got burned during Return of the King, I was indifferent. It's funny how they made such a big deal of saving him when his character was kinda irrelevant to begin with. Why would Gandalf stop fighting in the middle of battle when hundreds of people are dying around him, just to come save one character on his deathbed that we didn't really care much about to begin with? Bleh. #20. Sauron
Let's face it - Sauron being the main villain is pretty lame. A big eyeball in the sky? Come on. I know he took physical manifestation in the beginning of the first film, but that's beside the point because it was in a flashback. A main villain is supposed to be someone intimidating that strikes fear into your heart. I never really "felt" Sauron as a bad guy. OH NO, HE'S GOING TO LOOK AT YOU!!111! I actually thought Saruman was a better villain because he was creepy, intimidating, and actually spoke and physically interacted with the characters. |

Faramir in the book was awesome. In the movie he's a total pansy.
Also you better not rate that skank Arwen high. She's barely even in the books and that was mostly in the appendixes. |

ts2 wrote: Blasphemy! =o #19. Elrond
Something about this guy always rubbed me the wrong way. I know he only wants what is best for his daughter and his people, but he always seemed like a giant pussy to me. A giant pussy who is too serious and has no sense of humor. I'm glad he finally saw the light and helped humanity in the end, but it wasn't enough to make me like him after he was so much of a prude for so long in the series. #18. Treebeard
OK, now we are getting to the part of the list where I actually start liking the characters. Treebeard is a really cool character just for the fact that he's a giant talking tree. Or an Ent. Whatever you want to call it... He is the catalyst for all the trees revolting against Saruman, knocking down the dam and flooding Isengard. Despite being cool and all, he plays a relatively small part in the movie and we never really get to know a whole lot about him. 17. Éowyn
Eowyn was pretty cool because she was a strong chick who wasn't afraid to pick up a sword and fight. She went through a lot of tough times in the films, and it only seemed to make her stronger. She was forced to sit by and watch as her King became corrupted by Saruman. All the while dealing with the advances of slimy old Wormtongue. She also had a thing for Aragorn, only to be crushed when her love for him was rejected. She dealt with these problems by picking up a sword and defending Minas Tirith, side by side with Merry. She was the one who killed the Witch-king in the battle of the Pelennor Fields. "I am no man!" She doesn't rank higher because I never really considered her to be a central figure in the storyline of the movies. |

I just hope Eowyn isn't ranked under Arwen, as Eowyn pawns Arwen both in the books and movies. :P
