Well that settles that debate. So to those who cavalierly said the twist has no impact and/or can be easily avoided by Eric, now we know it does, and it can't.

I was thinking about the voting procedure vs. the tv schedule and I think Eric's use of a veto will never be controlled by america during a standard eviction week.

They give Eric tasks Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday -

-Tuesday will presumably always be his vote.

-Sunday will presumably be a fluff/story line piece because they haven't played POV yet and won't know if he has it.

-Tonight's is interesting - do they have two different segments ready to air? One if he wins HOH (to tell him 1 of his two nominees) and another if he doesn't win HOH (i'd guess try to align w/...)?

On the one hand I like them together because they seem to get along. But I worry that if he's seen as being her friend too much then an Eric ("pawn")/Jen pairing might be an easy nomination. I think Eric does like Jen and enjoy her company and they have bonded by being outcasts to a degree (and b/c Eric doesn't kiss up to Jen which she said she finds different) but realizes the house hates her and therefore joins in on bashing her to others (I think Jess does the same vis a vis Eric she likes him but bashes him to Dani and Joe to feel like she's with the masses).

I think in terms of players a Dick/Eric/Dani/Nick/Jen alliance would be the best we could hope for and I think they'd shred the house. I just don't think it will ever come close to happening: Eric and Dani are civil but clearly don't get along (seems kail didn't repeat E's AP story to her); Dick/Dani are just beginning to function and will be viewed as a much bigger threat the instant they openly work together; Dani/Nick should already be viewed as a big threat; despite clearly enjoying eachother's company Dick/Eric don't trust eachother for an instant in terms of the game; and Jen hates Dani, has trust issues with Nick, and Dick and her can't be in a room together. And without Jen to even things out I can't see Eric joining up with a Dick/Dani or Dick/Dani/Nick alliance where he's clearly low man on the totem pole.

My hope is that Eric isn't put up for the next 2 weeks - during which one of the Mrs. R group and Joe are bounced. Then Eric can try to align with Jameka, Jess as a core 3, then maybe see if they can connect to Dustin/Amber or Dick or Dani/Nick.

I'd guess that would be another rare instance where he actually controls his own actions b/c there wouldn't be enough time for any sort of vote.

I'm going to re-post this here so that I can go back at some point soon and add my thoughts and/or revise as is neccessary but this at least gives you a ballpark of how much I like each (which would be very different than how well I think each is playing the game):
