Jordin Sparks (Season 6 - Winnar) Some of you probably knew this was comin' from the start, but what can I say ^_^ lulz. Jordin is <3 <3 <3. Just like Kris, what I love about Jordin was that she came into the top 12 as an underdog (which was pretty much everyone not named Melinda/Lakisha) and she was one of the few contestants that I always forgot about. Going into the top 12, I thought that at best, she'd finish around 7th or 6th. I still liked Jordin, but on top 12 night she sang a Land Before Time song (I used to love those movies when I was a wee lad!) and knocked it out of the park. Then the following week she knocked everyone's socks off with a performance that many consider to be the best one of that season. She pulled out into the front of the pack despite not a whole lot of judges' praise until towards the end of the show. I love Jordin because she really stepped up her game and improved so much from the semis when she was just kind of middle of the road. And I love her music, she's had a lot of hit singles and they're so catchy. I can't wait for her next album, she performed a new single called "Battlefield" on the top 3 results show this season and it was stellar. A Melinda/Jordin finale woulda been so awesome, seriously. So close >_< *sniffle* they both made final 3. My favorite Jordin song. I love "No Air"!

Jordin was another great underdog victory. <3 What's with you and your favorites usually winning? XD I've loved every Jordin single that has come out and am currently obsessed with Battlefield. |
