Rashida's boyfriend is nothing like Jim. At all.

Was the reporter the same actress from season 1 of Rome?

Still not like Jim.
For one thing he has no problem sleeping with the reporter and is not pining over anyone on the show. |

I gave this show a chance and just found it very boring.

The first episode was so disappointing but the second and third were markedly better. My love for A-Po will keep me with this show, at least for now. It also
probably helps that I've maybe seen like ... three episodes of The Office ever so I can't really tell how blatantly similar the two are.

I love the intro/theme of this show. So catchy!

It has its moments but I don't know, as far as plot goes, all three episodes have felt exactly the same so far. It's just Amy Poehler (who I really
just don't enjoy to begin with, although the rest of the cast is great minus Rashida's boyfriend who's way too over the top and annoying) wanting
to build a park and residents not being receptive, just in a different setting.
<3 the intern girl though. |

I agree! The intern girl is hilarious and I don't get why they don't use her more often!

Decent episode. Leslie's over-the-top behavior over breaking some stupid rule was pretty good, including her apology videos, and it was interesting to
actually see Ron defend her. Interesting side-story with the pit guy, too. And Tom's slowly standing out more and more, especially when he interrogated
Leslie.
It's slowly making progress. |

I can't see it not getting renewed. It's doing alright in the ratings, NBC's desperate for a new hit, and Amy Poehler can help market this show.
Not the strongest show, but NBC's in the shitter and could use some 30-minute sitcoms to round out that 8pm hour. That plus it's winning the 18-34
demo in its hour.
I'll be surprised if we don't get a season 2. |

That was probably my favourite ep so far
"Why can't I look away" plus the dog shit fight at the start. Amazing. |

Even before the first episode airs? That's amazing.
Or did we just travel back in time? |

Wow, I actually really enjoyed last night's episode. Color me shocked.
Leslie and Anne's perceived lesbian relationship was hilarious. "I'm Leslie's trophy wife" |

Oh God, the haircut THE HAIRCUT
"It's called 'The Mayor'." Rashida's "I don't see the point of wearing a nice dress to go to 'The Couch." had me laughing. The only character I don't like and a lot of it has to do with the actor is Tom. I hated him on Scrubs this year and I can't stand him here. Otherwise a fine ensemble. |
