If you haven't figured it out yet, "i.pods" is my universal substitute for "t.ears", since both words are f.iltered. Nice downtempo interpretation in the 6-second vidclip part, although I hope he finds some dynamic range to toss in the right spots. Geetar player and Adam sitting at the edge of the stage, as Adam murders the first few notes and the audio screeches a note through one of my tweeters. Ouch! He messed up the lyric after "my smile", I believe; perhaps I missed something? In the bridge, I'm getting into the interpretation. (Whose is it? Does anybody know!? There's almost never an original interpretation on this show, for crying out loud, no matter how "original" they sound!) The back half is on target, at least until he takes the volume down right at the end, then up suddenly, then down suddenly until the note trails off. Not feeling that at all.

A 6 on balance, maybe? Maybe a 5. Dunno. It comes off like "I'm so full of myself I don't care what any of you think." And I'm not sure how much I'm marking off for that.

Randy: From Day One, I was like, this guy has the range. He can do anything. You're not just an indie cool rocker, you got the suit on, you sang some tender moments, falsetto, everything in your arsenal. Unbelievably hot.
