Which alliances / pairings in Survivor still have you scratching your head saying "How the hell did they agree to work together?"
Richard and Rudy are a classic case.
Others in the mix include Scunt / Twila, Lil / Jonny Fairplay, and even Tom / Ian. Even Cirie teaming up with Amanda and Parvati was a little surprising.

Why Tom and Ian? They are both atheletic guys with probably a lot in common. To answer your question, nothing suprises me. War makes for strange bedfellows.

Simple. Tom wanted and needed a loyal ally, and found it in Ian. Other than that, they seem like very different people. In real life, Tom would probably
mesh better with Gregg and Jenn, then say, Ian and Katie.

I think Ami told me she would've alligned with Terry if he was on FvF. Or the other way around. Either way that would be the ultimate opposites attract
alliance ever.

Crystal and Sugar (who were far more closely aligned in reality than the show portrayed).
Eliza and Twila/Scout! That one will always be by far the most shocking to me. Neleh/Paschal and Sean/Vee. |

I think that what ILuvGodessCirie meant is that the alliance of Neleh/Paschal was not likely to allign with Sean/Vee, yet they did.

Todd and Amanda always surprised me. Then of course, there are more, like Jason/Eliza, Deena/younger girls, Deena/Rob, it was ironic when Sandra/Lill/Darrah
voted together at the F5, and others.
