As a huge Simpsons fan, I agree that the recent seasons have sucked hardcore... The Simpsons in the 90s and early 2000s will never be topped. I love Stewie,
but aside from him the majority of Family Guy is crap. And don't get me started on American Dad.... such a piece of shit. South Park too I think has lost
it's charm in recent years.

King of the Hill was very, very good in its day. It nailed small-town Texas more accurately than anything Hollywood has ever produced. But when Mike Judge
left, it slowly began sinking, and it's time to call it a day.
The Simpsons was once the best show on TV, until they replaced their writers with computer software that just recycles old plots and jokes into different combinations. And I, too, find Family Guy excessively offensive. Also, excessively funny. |

King of the Hill - unwatchably sucky, how could the guy who created Beavis & Butt-Head (and Idiocracy) fall so low?
Futurama - funny 5% of the time Simpsons - Okay, jumped shark long ago, but it's something I can watch with the kids and not want to pull my eyes out of my head (SpongeBob also qualifies as a show I can watch with my kids and not hate every second of it) South Park - Also jumped, but I still have to watch Family Guy - Good to have on in the background while I work, not stare-worthy, best when Brian interacts with Stewie American Dad - I haven't made it through the credits yet |

KOTH - meh. It had its day, that day has passed. Simpsons - just stop already. Seriously. Family Guy - overrated and starting to get preachy and repetitive. Also, lost respect for SMcF when I saw him shilling for Hulu. American Dad - take it or leave it, wouldn't go looking for it if I was bored. Futurama >>>>> Simpsons x1M. It had intelligence, political humour that wasn't slapstick and obvious and it had HEART. |
