This is a damn good match, this is how I was anticipating the Azarenka/Serena match would be.

Wow, Serena finally did good on Elena's serve! I almost want to Elena to break back so this match can continue! If this was the final, it would rival my favorite women's match ever: which was the EPIC Wimbledon 05 final of Davenport vs Venus! That was the Nadal/Federer 08 match of Women's tennis.

That was FUCKING epic. Good job on both ladies parts. Yay for Serena for pulling through. Like Andy Roddick said in the 04 final, "I threw the kitchen skin at him and he threw a tub back." Elena did the same thing and she can't be mad. I almost feel bad for the girl because she's been so close so many damn times but has never pulled through this late in her career. She really should have won the AO this year, she was owning everyone until that semi final match.

If Serena plays like that against Venus i think it will be a 6-0,6-0 final.

Are you fucking retarded? Even I, who is very biased, gave props were I saw neccessary. That was an AMAZING match by BOTH fucking players. If Serena sucked and she still pulled it out, then I guess Elena played like shit too.

I think I am going to go watch that match again it was so orgasmic.


ETA: Your logic makes no sense. Serena played like shit, which was balanced out by Elena's amazing play. It was a close match which Serena won. Yea :okay. The stats are all there to tell both played amazing. Some of her serve percentages were down (for both) because in pressure situations and longer matches you have to take more risks and go for more shit, which causes more errors.

Survivorchick, these stats would actually suggest the opposite of what you are saying. Considering the overall quality of the match, I think Elena did better than the stats suggest.
