"Taking the Stage" is a musical reality show set at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is produced by Nick Lachey
for MTV. Lachey is a graduate of the School for Creative and Performing Arts. The program chronicles the lives of five high school students and their friends
as they train for careers in the arts.
So even though the previews for this show look sort of messpot, you know you'll be watching anyway. I figured I might as well start a thread for this show since it starts in about ten minutes.
I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of show it is exactly -- that is, whether it is "reality" like The Hills or actually something with a little more substance. I only live a few minutes away from Cincinnati and actually know quite a few people attending the Cincinnati School for Creating and Performing Arts, so naturally I am looking forward to seeing how it is presented.
