There is still that rumor at RealityFanForum that is holding true. The only thing left is for Joe to be booted next and I will put more faith in it.

The RFF rumored description of the final 10 boot order was posted after Sandy was booted leaving 2 male contestants finishing in 11th and 12th place by process of elimination. Since the descriptions of the final 10 only included a one young blond male with a big nose (Tyson) that meant that rumored final 10 order did not include Spencer.

From the descriptions given, the only descriptions that were ambiguous were for 5th and 4th place which were something like:
5th - a friendly young male
4th - younger male mid 20's

Most likely 5th/4th is either Brendan/JT or JT/Joe because Joe does not seem particularly friendly and Brendan is late 20's.

I think that this rumor will be debunked in the next regular episode. Acccording to the press photos, Timbira arrives at their puzzle station first so Timbira is likely to win the IC. If Joe is eliminated next it is either because of his injured knee or Stephen returns the HII to Taj and she plays it. Joe's injury did not appear to be that serious. It certainly was not as bad as Ami's blown ACL or Alexis' bum knee in Survivor Micronesia. I also don't expect the HII to be played when there are other boot alternatives which are likely. All Taj and Stephen need to do is to convince JT to vote for Sydney. That shouldn't be too difficult. So the most likely person to be booted next (unless subsequent clues or promos indicate otherwise) from Jalapao is Sydney. If somehow Timbira blows its lead in the IC then, based on story development, Brendan is the most likely person to go. Based on some of the things that Sandy said in her exit interviews, my gut tells me that Sydney does not make the jury. If the jury starts at the Final 10, then she should be booted in the next episode.

Actually the rumore implied an Erinn/Sydney Final 2 with Debb as the last juror.

Actually we have not been shown anything about JT/Joe suspecting anything about the cross-tribal alliance. All the suspicion about it lies with Tyson/Coach/Debbie at Timbira. Secondly Stephen has indicated that he is willing to throw Taj under the bus and keep the HII for himself. Given that we have seen that Taj is prone to have random emotional outbursts, she might not be someone who is a good ally for Stephen.

This logic only makes sense for a tribe that will have a numerical advantage at the merger. For a tribe that is down in numbers going into the merger (as Jalapao will be if they lose the next IC), it is actually better for the tribe to boot the weakest player. Once the merger happens, Timbira will target JT., Stephen and Taj before Sydney if Jalapao keeps her over Joe. However, if Jalapao keeps Joe over Sydney, then Joe will be targeted before Stephen, Taj and perhaps even JT. This is one of the reasons why Lex was stupid to vote off Colby/Ethan before Shii Ann and Jerri because once the merger happened, Lex was the biggest target and the first to go. I know that the cross-tribal alliance complicates matters but strategically Jalapao would be better off keeping Joe rather than Sydney. Also they can't assume a merger at 10. In some seasons (eg. Cook Islands), the merger occurred with 9 players left.
