It may be just me, but whenever Mrs. Hick sees another team she hollers "HI!" I caught it a few times last night...she seemed excited to see someone she knew in China.

I LOVE THIS TEAM - at first, I was just thought, eh, they are weird. But at the end, they are just so entertaining and REAL. How could you not root for them? |

I love the Hicks and the Alabama girls. Take it from me....it's tough being blue in a red state, but we really are out here. And we're working really hard to change things. We're not all Bushloving, warmongering assholes.

Watching these two in China was the biggest culture shock on TAR yet. It's good for these hayseeds to get out and see the world outside of the sticks
By the end of the show they'll probably be drinking Lattes at Starfucks, posting on their real-time blogs and setting up a new company that produces adventure hiking indie films...after moving to L.A. of course. |

I lived 5 minutes away from Stone, KY when I went to high school. I have to admit, I was a bit wary when I saw them as they do represent the KY stereotype, however I have really enjoyed thier attitude towards the race. I think the husband might work for the same coal mine as my dad. Same uniforms at least.
