You Must Love Me.

ALW tells us she hasn't a clue what the song is about. She says she "got it." We'll see. Singing seated on the stool; I love the intro, which is very stylish. Until she MISSES A NOTE AND STARTS AGAIN! Good heavens. "I'm sorry." Is she gone this week, or what!? Okay, she may actually recover. But the arrangement is so horribly low that it strains her lower range. It's the power range coming into the chorus, which is interpreted well enough, I suppose. The orchestra swells, Brooke stands, and this is her make or break moment. Good, but not great. Does that sum up her season ... or what?

Randy: For me, this wasn't great. Parts were good once you got started. At least you listened to ALW. You need to believe what you're singing. Vocally it was a little tough.
Paula: You must never start and stop. Having said that, this is the biggest platform. You're great enough as an artist to pick up the pieces. You didn't overact; you just were you. You sung the song, and anything that broke a little bit vocally was emotional.
Simon: This is why I love live TV. So dramatic! It completely threw you. You were so tense, your voice was straining in the middle. You became uncomfortable. This is a tricky one. I think you'll be disappointed when you watch this back.
