I know this will make me unpopular, but Philip deserved to go. You don't start yelling at Nick/Sir Alan and think you're going to get away with it -
and he was dragging Kate down too. And I think I'm beginning to like Lorraine now.
But Gilly, you'll want to download You're Fired especially, because Phil looks rather good on it. |

Well, he looked good while he lasted.
Come to my window, Philip! |

Glad Philip went, instead of letting Lorraine dig her grave he took her shovel and started digging his own grave.

It looks like Philip and Kate are still going strong, girls. THAT WHORE. The photo of Philip isn't very flattering in that article, BTW. Nicer photos are found here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1177866/Philip-flirt-admits-romance-blonde-Kate-cost-chance-Sir-Alans-Apprentice.html Where Philip admits that his dick had cost him his game. |

Philip's time was up...if he'd actually fought his corner in the boardroom rather than just insult Lorraine then he'd still be here..hope Lorraine
goes soon, can't stand her and her face...Problem I'm having with this series is seeing who could possibly win - most of them seem inept of being hired
at this point.

I want that bitch Lorraine to burn now. And i hope is somehow responsible for her ouster either as rival PM or just the person who shreds her enough in the BR.
For that moron to still be in the game is appalling. When she gleefully admitted to using the "Philip/Kate" card I wanted Kate to bitch slap her.
Which is it Lorraine: are you a person who goes by your gut or facts? Please someone destroy this woman. And please let it be Kate. |

Philip deserved to go, though, so it's not as if his boot was unfair. He didn't sell anything, neither did Kate nor Ben. So how is Lorraine being in
the game still a bad thing? She didn't do anything wrong - the three stooges dug themselves in by not selling anything.

Poor product choice. That kitty play pen thing was virtually unsellable. She sold FIFTY to a major pet chian. That speak svolumes. She even said herslef it was
a bad choice.

She sold 50. Philip sold zero.
So... |

She was at the super huge pet store which THEY set up for her and that they couldn't get to. She sold 50 to a store that could have easily bought several
hundred without blinking. It was a pity buy.

I'm scratching my head here. Are you seriously trying to say that Sir Alan should have fired Lorraine, who sold 50
items in a task all about individual selling, over Philip, who sold zero?

When he can fire someone for any damn reason he wants and Philip was not the only one to sell nothing and Lorraine has proven week after week to be an erratic
at best candidate who stands ZERO chance of actually winning?
Ummm, in a word: Yes. |

Um... okay then.

I think the point CP is making (and correct me if I'm wrong) is that Lorraine is never going to win. Phillip, however, has shown that he had what it takes
to win, if he were to tone his attitude down. And, given the way the firings had been happening thus far in the season, with SAS taking someone out who is
less likely to impress, rather than someone who fell on their face, it wouldn't be a big leap to say firing Phillip was a pretty big deal in light of
previous decisions.
SAS pretty much made a decision to go with one point: attitude. And gave Lorraine further chances to try to impress, but given her past record, I don't see that likely happening. I think her storyline has been from the get-go...don't judge a book by its cover. But that's never going to get her the win, just the sympathy edit. I personally didn't want any of the five to go from that team...but Lorraine really has less chance than anyone on that team to be someone SAS picks as the winner. So why humor her? To get back at Philip? Seems kinda silly to me. BUT, that's coming from a Philip fan who is now sad because he's gone. |

I don't agree, and I like looking at Philip. He'd demonstrated in the last few episodes that he had more arrogance than capacity to deliver. He's
like Katie's toyboy, the army guy, in S3 - a promising-looking fellow who can't really deliver. SAS thought
Philip too brash and arrogant to fit in with his company, and Philip brought that to himself. Lorraine may be on borrowed time, but she sold 50, while Philip
sold 0, and that is just the nail in the coffin.

Alright, fair enough. There are a number of good candidates this season, and neither Philip nor Lorraine could have really beaten them. So it's all a pretty moot point.

I think what you have to remember is the other team didn't sell many of their "Lovers Lead" to the major pet store either, because all they
wanted was some trial stock.
