I couldn't tell which team would lose though I suspected James' would. Still both had firing-worthy fails. So happy Beard-O went. UTR and annoying. Plus I liked both other potential firees. Tough task. Just coming up with an idea alone would have been tough. I was impressed with the winning team's idea even if it was mind-blowing it looked really good and I can easily see it selling in stores. The other? Not so much. The original idea sounded better and I'm amazed James didn't bring up that he told them to keep it simple but the design team ignored him. And Philip a) got a great shout-out from SAS (yay!) and b) looked amazingly hot at the private concert. Sweater, loosened dress shirt & tie? Drool. Last Edited By: CoconutPhone 04/09/09 10:20 PM. It probably would have sold as a cheap, £10 thing in its original form.

It seems as if SAS is less about letting people slide by and more about people taking chances, even if those chances fail epically. I was actually really surprised though that Lorainne got as much credit as she did though. I thought she was delivering pretty horribly, even though I really like her character. Of course Philip got credit...he's a God amongst men. Can he just win now please? Or at least be around every single episode for major eye-candy. Did anyone else love the girls ever so subtly telling Debra that Noorul vs. Philip on the hotness scale was a ridiculous comparison? Hehe loved that. But yeah, Lorainne getting SAS credit? Much surprise.

Majid had to go. I actually liked James and he came across as a very calm organized leader. His only problem was not overseeing Ben's design and then having to pitch "the box" to retailers. I did not like the job Ben did because he had a decent idea and then just fucked it up into a cheap horrible looking thing. Majid was enthusiastic about making it more than it was so he shares the blame in that. I could tell from the amount of time they spent showing how exactly Ben's idea went wrong, their team was going to lose and I was actually hoping Ben would get fired but Sir Alan thought he stepped up to produce something, which is better than nothing. Anyone else thought Debra's mini rant against racism to her black and Iranian teammates who had no problem with anything a little strange?

Spoiler [+] Apprentice star Mona Lewis made a homophobic comment during filming for the BBC One reality series, it has been claimed. The 28-year-old businesswoman, who was raised in Tanzania, reportedly offended her gay teammate Howard Ebison by expressing controversial views on the programme. According to the Sunday Mirror, the row began when Sir Alan Sugar challenged the candidates to create a new image for the seaside town of Margate. After Ebison suggested rebranding the location as a gay resort, Lewis apparently rejected the idea before admitting that she would not like her six-year-old son to meet a homosexual man. An insider told the newspaper: "Howard did very well to keep his cool as he was extremely offended. He had to put up with a certain amount of homophobic abuse when he was growing up, so this really upset him. "The group was stunned that someone as intelligent as Mona could have such old-fashioned views. Even though she was raised in a country with more traditional values, her comments were indefensible." Show producers are still said to be considering how much of the incident will air amid fears that it could offend viewers
