Callier and Angela V. Shelton, a.k.a. the Los Angeles comedy duo Frangela, are last-minute additions to the cast of NBC-TV's
"I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" The new season, set in the jungles of Costa Rica, debuts at 7 p.m. Monday on NBC.
Callier is a Chicago native; Shelton is originally from Detroit. The two met while performing at Second City. Among other media gigs, the two are regular
pop-culture pundits on NBC's "The Today Show" and "Dateline."
Other celebrities booked for the reality show include Heidi Montag and Spencer
Pratt (stars of MTV's "The Hills"), NBA star and TV personality John Salley ("Best Damned Sports Show Period"), supermodel and reality TV star Janice
Dickinson ("The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency"), 2007 "American Idol" contestant Sanjaya Malakar, actor Stephen Baldwin ("The
Usual Suspects") and professional wrestler and beauty queen Torrie Wilson.
As for Callier and Shelton, maybe they will chat with fellow contestant Patti Blagojevich
about the Second City production "Rod Blagojevich
Superstar!"
