I haven't been to a Catholic church service since Christmas Eve 2001. (I've since had sporadic visits at Disciples of Christ and Episcopalian
churches.) I take the Lord's name in vain. I have fundamental disagreements with Christianity. I admit that I am not the first person to give a homeless
person on the corner a few cents.
And I'm still a better Christian than SPEIDI (or even Stephen Baldwin) will ever be. |

OK, curiousity got the best of me.
I have never watched the Hills. From my perspective, this show is like Lou Diamond Phillips, Steven Baldwin and Sanjaya have somehow wandered into Survivor by accident, and this obscure couple has decided to become the Most Horrible Reality Contestants of All Time. Is there any chance this is scripted bullshit to add drama? That Spencer is pretending to be an incomprehensible asshole to make the show more interesting, to be Johnny Fairplay? And...uh... why is Lou Diamond Phillips here? Did he lose a bet? Why does Janice look like that? Why does the hairdresser hate Sanjaya? |

The Speidi stuff I'm just going to put in a jar and pretend like it's not happening. I hate that they make the show. Wish they would stay away.
Things I love -- That Patti B is actually not that bad. That Janice is brave to wear no makeup when she's had that much surgery. And she is killing with her "don't give a shit" lines - although to see her cry was a little weird. That Lou Diamond is here at all, and somehow maintaining his dignity in the midst of all of this. That Sanjaya is actually having fun! That Frangela aren't nearly as annoying as their comedy act would lead you to believe. |
