Then I saw Jaws when I was 10 and I was scarred for life. I can still go in the ocean, but it is with trepidation, I am constantly looking around for fins, and I can't go out any further than where I can reach comfortably. And since I'm a pretty short, this limits me greatly. Fuck Steven Spielberg or whoever directed that movie....son of a bitch scarred a whole generation.
Shamefully I'm still afraid to go in the water after seeing Jaws. Weekend Dad let me watch it when I was six lol. Jamaica was a hoot let me tell ya. I think it was only about ten years ago I could finally sleep with my feet hanging off the end of the bed even. That movie FUCKED ME UP. I've watched it a million times since then and I really really love it, but I still can't stop the water panic thing.
