Are you flying in and out of Rome? Taking the train?
I have only been to Northern Italy, so I'm no help with the South. |

It's not often that I think of board people during the times when I'm logged off. But I actually did think of this. and I had no idea who the person
was. I'm going to send relief money. I feel bad for them. It's very sad.

As a rule, Italian people are loud, childish, and annoying. So it won't be much different than OT.

Hey what's going on with that trial of the American girl who supposedly killed the other girl. She and some italian guy are on trial, and some other guy
has already been convicted.
From what I have heard, the American girl is being railroaded by the crazy Italian legal system. |

Well it was pretty incredible.
Visited Rome, Florence, Siena, Naples and Capri. Rome is just.... Rome. I love how you can walk around the city with no destination and run into these gorgeous statues and fountains... and the people watching in Rome is great. Florence was overrated. And overrun with tourists. The lines for everything were hours long so I didn't bother trying to see the famous stuff. I skipped out to Siena. Which was gorgeous! To those that recommended it- molto grazie! Naples was dirty, gritty, covered in graffiti and construction everywhere. It was interesting in that it wasn't so touristy and felt more real... but not much to see there. Mt Vesuvius was cool though and the Pompeii ruins were interesting. Capri was very glamorous and fun with the cliffs and pebble beaches. I was unimpressed with most of the Italian men... I wanted them all to look like the soccer players and instead they were really skinny with bad teeth. Or old with bad teeth. But they do know how to make a girl feel good about herself. The food and the wine were just the best ever... I tried to eat the regional specialty everywhere I went... which meant a 500 gram Florentina steak in Florence that was practically still mooing. Limoncello in Capri (nasty!), pizza in Naples (though I liked Roman pizza better). So many places and things I didn't have time to see so I'll have to make a return trip soon. |

I did. The Blue Grotto is just as amazing as they say but it's a ridiculous tourist trap in that you have to pay 3 times over to get a 2 minute ride
through the grotto.

I've never been to Europe and I've never leave Asian continent. Europe is much cold by night rather than hot temperature here.
