If all the semi-final performances had been on one night, how would you rank them? And, regardless of groups, which ones do you think deserve to be finalists? For me: 1 - Lil 2 - Jorge 3 - Allison 4 - Kristen 5 - Alexis 6 - Adam 7- Jessie 8 - Ju'not 9 - Kris 10 - Megan 11 - Von 12 - Felicia Just missing it (all from Week 1): Matt Oil Rig, Tatiana, the girl who sang "Natural Woman", and that first crazy girl who sang with the weird outfit Definitely not ever making it anywhere close to my Top 12: Gokey and Scott It's a shame half of my Top 12 probably won't even be in the actual one.

There are so many young, marketable contemporary artists this season that many combinations would actually work. Pity the judges still managed to ruin it this season by choosing the bottom of the barrel contestants. Disgusting.

It's 7:5 male; I only thought 5 women were good this year. Von and Nathaniel are creepy but they potentially have great voices. In picking whoever I want I can really tell what a weak group it is this year. I'm more easily impressed than some sucksters but the only singer who blew me away in all the semi rounds this year was Allison (Adam, Ju'Not and Jorge came close). I think the group I'm listing is far weaker than the ones in seasons 2, 4, and 5 and probably last year's. And the judges not finding (or selecting from the Hollywood rounds) a single decent black female singer as one of 18 semifinalists is criminal. Considering that the actual top 12 will have at least one dubious singer (Kris) and 3 that are flat-out bad (Michael, Scott & Li'l) this is NOT shaping up to be a good season at all. 1. Danny 2. Posts: 3646 (03/05/09 8:31 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I hate the pimped contestants this year, I like Adam as a person but I couldn't bear to listen to him screech out a performances, I also get angry whenever I see Gokey's mug, and also I wouldn't put through Lil Rounds based on her obvious limits as a singer and her terrible job during Hollywood week. I would only have four girls 1. Tatiana Del Toro 2. Jesse Langsforth 3. Alexis 4. Allison Iraheta All four of them have a voice that a like, picked songs that I don't mind hearing and have personalities that I enjoy. Jesse I would pick because she reminds me of Jason Castro, I love the tone of her voice, and she kind of cracks me up during the results show. Tatiana I would pick because I feel that she's the girl who everyone in the world is against and doesn't want to see succeed but she goes out and performs better then they could expect, she's socially awkward and not a bitch like Danny Gokey. Allison I like because she gives great performances, a lot of passion and I think she could get better in the competition. Alexis makes the final spot over Kristen and Lil mostly because her quasi lesbian relationship with Kara, and I want to see Tatiana beat her. 5. Anoop 6. Kris Allen 7. Matt G. 8. Ju'ont Joyner Those four guys I see as credible winners for the show, they also encompass several different genres of music yet all can be based in R&B and its been so long since I've been excited about a male R&B singer. 9. Jorge Nunes Who I don't think is hateable and I think on several genre nights he will be great ala Carly Smithson 10. Scott MacIntyre For the group dance numbers, and I think he makes the other piano guys sound better 11. Normund Gentle Noman is epic, plus I want to see how he treats the "celebrities" who are on the show to push there albums 12. Ricky Braddy I don't think he has a chance to win but I do think he will always give a pleasant enough performance
