Am I the only one who thinks the Taj scene is just a mis-direction? Perhaps it's just a small part of the episode, and nothing really comes of it. I would
assume this scene has to occur when Taj explains why she voted for Joe over Sandy.
Hmm...I also think that the ego clue isn't talking about Taj. Once again, that seems to obvious to be true. I would think it could be talking about Sydney or someone from Timbira. Perhaps Sydney becomes over-confident about her chances after being saved before Sandy. |

I agree that scene is probably to create doubt about the Exile Alliance, and is therefore misdirection. I don't think it's necessarily a blow up about
the Joe vote though. Taj voted for Joe as a throw away vote.

Maybe Sydney is safe for at least one more week? Idk. I never know. I think Joe somehow will get himself ousted. They're almost at the merge anyways, with at least 2 more boots left. Idk. |

From an interview with Sandy at RTVW:
Reality TV World: We know [Spencer Duhm] seemed to have no inkling about it, but did you know anything about the "dual tribe alliance" that was Taj -- and eventually Stephen -- were forming while you were on the show? Did anything make you suspicious? So if both Jerry and Sandy knew nothing about the cross-tribal alliance, I'm holding onto the belief that Taj, Brendan, Sierra and Stephen all make it to the jury stage of the game at least. My other thought that I posted somewhere else is that it wouldn't be such a bad thing for Taj to use the idol. If only members of the exile alliance are going to EI, then they'd be the only ones to know that there's an idol at each camp, so if Taj used the idol, in public at TC, no one would suspect that Brendan would have an idol either. Four people with two idols would be ideal, but even if one is used, it's not such a bad thing. |

I think Sydney could make it far into the game, Susie did and was pretty invisible. I think Joe would have a better edit if he made it far. Joe/Sydney/Spencer have all been under edited. If they had any major impact after the merge wouldn't at least one of them been shown a lot more on the actual episodes. |

I think the editing this season is heavly focused on Coach and the 4 person tribal alliance that there isn't much room for anyone else.
Deb, Joe, JT, Sydney, Spencer, Stephen (somewhat) have all been somewhat invisible. JT gets a commentary here and there about nothing important. Sydney somewhat spiked. Spencer hasn't devolped as a "character". Joe is not even there. Somebody can miss his boot episode and watch the episode following and not think they missed anything. At least with Sydney its like "where's the hot blonde?". |

Based on Sandy's comments it seems like the Exile alliance at least make the jury part of the game. I mean it took 3 episodes to form and now they are
getting some doubt on whether if this secret alliance can work or not.

I've read that other board that was linked for the "Final 10" and somebody brought up a good point. If Sydney doesn't know at that point that
Spencer was gay in her insider video for Episode 4 but Sandy and Carolina do does that mean Spencer doesn't make Jury?

Reality TV World: It seemed like your tribe had a strong reaction to Taj's revelation that she was married to former NFL player Eddie George and [didn't need the prize] money, but unlike what has happened in Survivor before, most people didn't seem to see that as a good reason to vote her off immediately -- do you know why that was the case?I found that to be interesting, she basically says that Taj was kept around because of her husband, and she also implys that Taj knew what she was doing whenever she mentioned her husband. |
