Her behavior doesn't make any sense to me because even if she does use the idol and gets rid of Joe or Sydney, if she alienates enough people, she's still going to have a huge target on her back.

It seems to me that tajs story appears to be coming to an end. She is getting a high amout of camera time. Even with nonsensical stories like her suffering
from exile island. I wouldnt be shocked at all if Taj was a premerge boot. That would explain the rest of Carolines interview.

If there is a swap next week, I wouldn't be surprised if all this Taj freaks out and Brendan might be in danger be before the swap. Then they get saved
and the exile alliance survives another episode.
Or if there is no swap then I'm going to say that they think about voting Taj out but ultimately go with Sydney then in ep 6 Taj idols Joe. |

If Sydnes or Joe go next, then one side would probably be Taj/Stephen and the other side would be Spencer/Syndey/Joe. JT would be the swing vote in a tie
situation. That's one of the reasons I was surprised they didn't mention any bond between JT and Stephen in this episode, because you would think they
would have to play that up to show where JT's loyalties will go.
So either the tribe decides to vote Syndey or Joe out, or the teams are shuffled again before the decision is made. I'm hoping that this is all a distraction and that they keep showing such OTT distractions on Timbiria because at least one more of them (preferably Coach or Tyson) goes pre-merge. |

In Jeff's latest blog entry he still has a boner for Coach
 . He also talks about Taj saying how she is growing on him despite being a pain in the ass
at times, and he states that the exile alliance is huge and that Stephen should be the person to look out for.

Either they're trying to start a redemption edit for Coach, or he goes soon and Jeff feels sorry for him.
Stephen hasn't been edited as any type of big player. Taj is edited as unstable, and Brendan seems to be drifting more towards muteness. That leaves Sierra, who basically has a good edit, not too much or too little. Maybe she's the one of the four who goes the furthest. As of right now they don't seem to be selling this as a strong set of players, unless they're just biding their time. |

I can see that happening, but if they target Taj and her Idol is out of use, I'm not sure why they wouldn't just vote her out the next week,
particularly if any of them get an idea of her having an alliance with the other team. She's been getting such heavy focus lately, I kind of wonder if
she'll end up going before one of Sydney/Joe.

I think we need to keep a look out for the people that Jeff mentioned twice. In Newsday he mentioned only JT, Stephen, Taj, Tyson, Sierra, Brendan and Coach.
Then in his EW blog he basically mentions everyone except Joe and Sydney. His first list def makes sense now that we are 5 episodes in.
Jeff mentioning Taj/Sierra/Brendan/Stephen makes a lot of sense now, I definatley see JT struggling to stay in the game post swap storyline coming on. Tyson and Coach being mentioned is no surprise either.

But I think Stephen and Sierra will definitely do the best and go the furthest out of the secret alliance. Taj is the one kind of taking control at the minute, but she is going to get ahead of herself and end up drawing too much attention. Brendan may do something similar. Stephen will become the brains of the operation and I also think post-merge he will adapt to the game much easier and we could see him switching alliances on a weekly basis, kind of like Cesternino did in Amazon, as soon as he sees his current alliance crumbling, he smoothly moves in to a new one. Sierra I think will get far with a little luck and a little passion, I can see her running with this underdog story and perhaps winning a couple of challenges down the line. I definitely think Stephen and Sierra make Final 4, but not sure if Taj and Brendan will be there with them.
