Me too...The only thing I can figure is that Jin told Locke not to bring her back, so she wasn't "supposed to" go...Although, I don't know who would've made Jin in charge. Yeah, I saw that. I was just wondering if anyone mentioned where he was when the flash happened. We know he wasn't with the 06 or 316 crew. I don't remember the Marshall saying anything, and was wondering if I missed something. I guess it's stupid question, and he flashed. edit: NM, I worded my original question like a retard and that's why I'm confused at the responses.

Tonight we saw Charlotte on the Island in 1974, looking to be about 6 years old ... which means she would have been born about 1968. However, last season, when Ben was rattling off her life history, he said she was born in 1979. Which would seem to suggest that when Char and her mum left the Island they jumped forward in time.

What I don't understand....When Ben was born, Horace and Olivia (I assumed she was his wife) were there. In 77, Horace was married to Amy. When Ben and Annie were in the classroom, Olivia was their teacher, so she was still in the picture. I'm confused as to how Horace/Amy/Olivia's time line works. Perhaps they're introducing a new Kate/Jack/Sawyeresque triangle.
