Good point, but the "God help us all" could be simply mean that in her mind, she also needs Ben back to island to take a side against Widmore. There
are also lots of potential consequences or "incidents" that she could be worried about: H-bombs blowing up the island, electromagnetic energy
buildup if they fail to perpetuate the button-pushing (maybe these two are related); etc. Or maybe she is concerned about her time-traveling son messing with
the donkey wheel or revealing the island's whereabouts to Widmore. But none of those have much to do with the O6, who could very well just be puppets . .
. unless of course Eloise also believes that Locke is the island's chosen one.

But they do know each other (if you're talking about Jack, Juliet, Sawyer and Kate et al) in 1977. |

On another random note: there seems to be an undercurrent to a lot of the posts here implying or assuming that Sun and Locke and Ben flashed into a
different time than Kate, Jack and Hurley, but as far as I know there has been absolutely no evidence of that yet. While it is plausible that they landed in a
different time, to me the Hydra station didn't look like it had been abandoned for very long and may have actually still been in use (I have to go back and
watch again). The stuff seemed pretty clean (and didn't one of the Dharma suit guys mention last night that "this is better than watching polar
bears" . . . meaning maybe the Hydra experiments were on-hold temporarily and the Ajira folks stumbled upon that station while the suits were away?).

You guys really leave no stones unturned when it comes to this show, huh? I sort of picture most of you with timeline charts, blackboards and notebooks
strewn all about your homes to keep up with the latest developments and to check facts.

Has anybody mentioned the possibility that the little redhead from last night was not Charlotte at all, but Annie? Seems like a much better fit, age-wise.
On the DVD commentary track for "The Man Behind the Curtain" Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse describe Annie and Alexandra as the two most significant women in Ben's life. Annie is described as a character that is going to play a "huge part" in upcoming storylines: "Annie is going to prove to be very significant in Ben's life," and that even the island's volcano will be "slightly less important than Annie, but still seismic." |

Who would have thought that ear plugs could get you past the sonic fence? But the fence must have also been set at a lower level since this time it only
appeared to be set on stun as opposed to brain melt levels. Maybe Richard knows about the ear plug trick or maybe he's just deaf and reads lips.

That would imply that it was sometime after January 2005 (when the O6 left and the island started flashing). Also, at this point, we have no idea where -- or when -- Sun is. We only know that Ben and Locke ended up in the same time and location as the 316ers. And according to last night's "Pop-Up Videos" rerun of "316" we know that Ben, Locke and the 316ers are on the small, Hydra island. |

The skeptic in me just figured that some people know something from the spoiler thread, because a number of posts seemed to accept it as fact already that Sun, Locke and Ben are in a different time. |

BTW, if you look at a photo of the statue it does appear to be holding an ankh in its right hand by the loopy part.
The ankh was the Egyptian hieroglyphic character that read "eternal life", a triliteral sign for the consonants ˁ-n-ḫ. Egyptian gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their chest. It is also known as the key of life, the key of the Nile, or as crux ansata, Latin for "cross with a handle". could it be... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maahes http://www.ancientegyptonline.co.uk/maahes.html However, Maahes was rarely referred to by name. Rather he was usually referred to by his most common epithet, "The Lord of the Massacre". He was
given a number of other bloodcurdling epithets including; "Wielder of the Knife", "The Scarlet Lord" (referring to the blood of his
victims) and "Lord of Slaughter". Yet, he was not seen as a force of evil. He punished those who violated the rules of Ma´at and so promoted order and justice. Thus he was also known as the "Avenger of Wrongs" and
"Helper of the Wise Ones". The Greeks associated him with the Furies (who were also potentially dangerous but not specifically evil) and gave him
their epithet "The Kindly One,"
He was considered to be the personification of the burning heat of the sun, linking him to the goddesses who were given the title the "Eye of Ra" (including his mother, Sekhmet or Bast). By Greek times, he was described as a god of storms. Yet desipte his agressive aspect, Maahes was also thought of as a protective deity. He helped protect Ra from Apep as he travelled into the underworld night and defended the pharaoh in battle. He was also considered to be the guardian of sacred places and a protector of the innocent. Maahes was often depicted as a lion-headed man carrying a knife and wearing the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt, the atef crown or a solar disk and Ureas (royal serpent). Less often, he was depicted as a lion devouring a victim.

One other thing that struck me and I haven't seen mentioned, that Horace was blowing up trees while he was drunk and pissed.
Kind of like Jacob/the island, no? |

Hell, I don't know who is where or when. In fact, I don't even watch this show with the sound on. I'm just watching the screen in hopes of
getting another glimpse of Studboy Sawyer sans shirt.

I was sorta hoping Amy's baby would be named "Miles".
Anyhow, they'd been there for 3 years, so you'd think they'd already know if Candle's baby was named Miles. |

I think the plane crashed in 2007Not really a big deal, but present time is 2008. The O6 left early 2005, three years have passed. So it's 2008, not 2007. Just sayin'... |
