This week, I will try to be more lucid than I was last week. I'm even using their right names! As with last week, I didn't watch the audition rounds, so I went into tonight fresh, knowing none of them. Overall this week was better than last (I have a favorite now!) and I think the results tomorrow will be more unpredictable than last week.

1 - Allison - Boring interview, then I hear she's singing "Alone" so I thought there's no way she can measure up to past versions. Well, I was wrong. I loved her and the tone of her voice. Love her look, love her red hair. I hope she makes it; she has a chance to win. Best performance of the last two weeks, by a long shot. A solid 9.

2 - Adam - I'm guessing, before looking around this forum, that he's probably got a lot of haters since I can tell he's "pimped". Well, I thought I might hate him but I like him. He can really sing. He didn't blow me out of the park though, and I do think he kind of over-does it, but I like that he's different and will take chances. He might annoy me later on though; we'll see. So is he gay? He strikes me as a gay guy trying to come across as straight for the show. Gets 8 out of 10.

3 - Jessie - Her personality might get irksome, but there is just something about her that's intriguing. Before the judges even said it, I was thinking along the lines of "cool cat" and "slinky". The song was dated and I don't even really like it, but she pulls you in and makes you (well me anyway) like it. 6 out of 10.

4 - Kris - He's so cute you just want to lick him. Whenever I hear that someone is going to do a MJ song, I groan, but I actually liked his performance OK. He sang well except for the first part. His only problem is that he lacks charisma. He's lucky he has looks to make up for that. 5 out of 10.

5 - Megan - I sort of like her hippie meets tattoo artist vibe, but i wasn't impressed by her singing. I thought she sang the song in too low of a key. 5 out of 10.

6 - Mishavonna - I thought the judges were a little harsh on her. She sang the song well but she didn't really grab my attention or anything. 5 out of 10.

7 - Nick - So terrible it's kind of good. He actually has a good voice and he has stage presence out the wazoo, but that's the oddest semi-final performance I've ever seen, even odder than that guy who did Copa Cabana. Seriously, he pulls you into his performance and makes you like it. Well, me anyway. 5 out of 10 for hutzpah.

8 - Jasmine - I don't see what was so terrible about her performance. She's young and pretty, and she sang a young and pretty song. It might not be the most memorable, but it wasn't bad at all. 5 out of 10.

9 - Janeane - I like that song but she WAY overdid it. Parts actually sounded very good but parts sounded awful. 4 out of 10.

10 - Matt G. - I like that song but the vibrato in his voice really annoyed me.3 out of 10.

11 - Matt B. - He picked the wrong song for him. I really like that song but it did him no favors. He sang it well but it doesn't suit him. Also, I didn't like what he was saying after the song. So he'll still say he wouldn't change the song even if he goes home tomorrow? Yeah right, he's either stupid or lying. 3 out of 10.

12 - Kai - I was ready to like him, but really? That song? BORING. I don't care how good you sing it, and he sang it fine, if you pick that song, you are SAFE and BORING and I cannot root for you. And he overdid his facial expressions. Not as bad as that girl last week, but bad enough. 2 out of 10.



Predictions - If I got to choose the 3, I'd pick Allison, Adam and Jessie, and pull that cutie Kris in during Wild Cards. America will choose Adam for sure, but the others are a tossup between Allison, Jessie, Kris, Megan and Mishavonna. I'll guess the 3 will be: Adam, Allison and Kris (the cuteness will get him through).
