Posts: 21 (02/25/09 10:05 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I think Ben killed Locke to prevent him from committing suicide, which is a mortal sin, and he wouldn't be able to be resurected if he committed suicide. There is a lot of religious doctorine in LOST and it would stand to reason that suicide would mean that our man of faith couldn't be shown to have lost all faith. I was also surprised to hear Winmore say that he was the leader of the others. He must have been sent away well before Ben took over if he fathered Penny, and built his massive company. Unless Penny was born on the island?

SO much is being thrown at us each week now...it's simply unbelievable. Is it next Wednesday yet? Can I be put into a coma until then???

Persumably Locke, Ben, Lapidus and Sun are in the "present"...whenever the plane crashed What is interesting is who was "taken" off the plane by the island/flash and who remained on the plane. Wonder how that will play out. Lapidus and Ben I can understand staying on the plane cos maybe the island didn't want them back. But sun staying on the plane is interesting. Maybe it means she is up to no good and the island knows about it?

I'm wondering about Sun, I'm not convinced she's "the woman" with Frank, just because I don't expect anything on this show to be that simple, lol. Ithought Cassidy too, but I think her hair was straight? It wasn't super straight, IIRC. It looked like the kind of hair that could probably go either way depending on what sjhe did with it.

Outside of all the plot twists and turns, just fantastic acting all around. Am gonna re-watch and analyze tomorrow.

Okay, I would argue that Christian Sheppard wasn't special like Locke. He had a flaw, a disease that made him imperfect, but he still has a role on the island. Many of Jesus' deciples had flaws but they still helped and supported Jesus in his mission. Locke said it himself "I am special".
