I went. It was interesting. He had his girlfriend with him who came out and sang a pop song in Japanese. Tyler's part was more interesting. He showed clips from both films ("Kintara Walks Japan" and "Iran Iran"). I guess he just yesterday got approval to go back to Iran to finish that film. He also showed clips from Amazing Race, so that was fun. He seems like a nice guy. Goofy, as you all know. His parents were in the audience and seemed to try to steer questions away from the Amazing Race topic (we went back there anyway - haha!). Someone asked if he felt that "production" helped a "certain" team get on a plane a few editions back and he really didn't think production helped the outcome at all. He said he thought they got a fair edit. I asked him about going to Iran and whether he thought that was a product of the Amazing Race or whether he felt that was something he would do anyway (kind of a "how did you spend your money?" question without trying to be rude). He said he probably would have done it anyway if he had had the thought, but having the money helped. He said he's still in daily contact with B.J. and that the worst "fight" they had was when they got lost on the race and that his silent treatment was like him "whipping" him. Anyway, it was fun - glad I went.

I'm not really great at judging heights but I'd say Tyler is about 6' and Ayumi is 5'4" or so. I didn't go stand next to them or anything...
