Blindfold for one - Spencer, JT, Stephen/joe? Sydney
Eating only termites makes one desperate

I like this one already. Hopefully other pairs will have different foods, not just corn.

Feels rewardish. Whoever wins gets to keep all the food they collect in their pots? And yeah, I'm pretty sure it will be different kinds of food.

Yep, you're blindfolded so you don't know what you are loading.
Weigh what each tribe collects. Winner gets to keep it. Which weighs more ... lots of corn or some other item that is bigger but you'd get less of? |

teehee Like a papaya? Or a ham?

Looks like JT to me, Croc.
teehee Like a papaya? Or a ham?Birdlady, you crack me up. (Luckily I have learned not to have something liquid in my mouth when reading MESS forums!) Now I have this insane visual of huge hams falling on their heads and hurting them, the kind with cross hatching and whole cloves stuck in them. |

After the hopper is emptied, maybe they have to run the bucket, guided by sighted team members and pour it into a balance that raises a flag?

That sounds right, Mahd
The sighted member might have to guide the blind ones to control the yank of the rope that opens the flood of grains and the angle of the buckets. As fun as it could be with hams or papaya shooting at them, I have a feeling it will be grains only. Maybe one of the rope supplies sand? It's so readily available and so cruel they just might do it. That doesn't mean they won't get meat and seasonings in the rewards though. Also, according to JPiddy's blog, we would be getting two challenges each show for a while now. They did single/combined challenges for our sakes. Did it to save screen time for camp life. We did get to know them a little better and not just the losing tribe. I for one hope this policy is here to stay. |

Aaaggghhhh! Not the whole cloves!
Yeah, it seems like there could be a caller, especially if there are pairs of blindfolded people, one to hold the bucket and one to pull the lever. On the other hand, they have been getting increasingly mean with the blindfold challenges, like that mask one in Gabon where it was possibly to wander completely off the course with no way to get back. So maybe they just turn them loose, and the players have to guide themselves by the sound of the food spilling and Probst hollering. Maybe instead of raising a flag, since most everyone is blindfolded, filling the goal completely could set off a big noise somehow. |

I'm wondering if there is more to this than just the corn dumping? Like maybe a whole course like in Outback, only instead of having to fill something with
water, it's corn.

Looks like they're all (or most, Debbie and Jerry unaccounted for) tied together, through some sort of maze or else choices for which hopper to open.
There's a platformy thing in the back - for a caller? Tyson's head is turned to the side - is he listening?

Maze to the bucket drop, fill, back through, first to fill a something wins?
I'm thinking jalapao wins this one. Taj picks Brendan for Exile. Brendan picks Taj. |

No caller then, and that grey woodwork in the bottom center here is the chute they pour the corn into. Tyson has a bucket in his hand in a similar shot, with Jalapao further behind, and it appears Taj is carrying the bucket in one shot. Several trips might be necessary to fill the bucket below the chute. Jalapao wins reward. |

Yea, in Probst's preview, there's the clip of Coach saying how Sierra was freaking out and screaming about how she couldn't hear anything, and how
Erinn wasn't any better. Not the discussion of a winning team, that's for sure.
